this is the most realistic wishlist i have ever seen.
 
TSUKUBA PLEASE!!! and Motegi too:) with some high PP events for a change... always low PPs are anoying me. And the full version at the end of the year would be great... or sooner:) LOL

id like to see either a sunset or night track as a preview to what that may look like in the full game.
 
Since it is highly unlikely there will be no new tracks in any update before GT5 release. It would be really good to see them give us the ability to adjust,setup online races. I'm not saying the pipe dream of private rooms in prolouge. But like Ferrari Challenge or F1CE to setup events to a track/car of your liking then some one who likes that event could join in.

Its really unbelievable that when we have only 6 tracks that we cant at least race them all with our own options.
Oh and please no Tsukuba again :sly:

Why is it a pipe dream? IMO Private lobbies should be right at the top of the list of basic requirements before any online game is released.

GT5P is not really an online game, its just a single player game with a small online mode, there are more important things than private room like the number of tracks and cars, online penaltys and finishing GT5.
 
IMO any track to test for problems during download. If it can't be done I believe the full Gran Turismo 5 track list to be locked. We know cars can be downloaded. Grand Valley anyone?
 
rally tracks would be nice like swiss alps. i think we will likely love whatever they give us. it can only improve.

Of course they can add tracks, i think they added a track the the US version of the game since it launched with one less track.
 
No, but the Japanese version was missing the HSR and got it with Spec II.
Of course they can update GT5 with tracks, at least for Arcade and online mode.
 
Just adding one more track would re-ignite thousend of peoples intrest towards GT5P and keep us all happy for a few more months at least.

It wouldn't hurt them one bit by releasing a track - and if they do read these forums (PD) then why are they not listening to their loyal fan base?

But when they advertised GT5P on the TV they made a big deal about being able to play online with 15 friends with this game......in fact is was the biggest focus of the commercial, so surely Online was/is one of the primary focuses of this game.

Absolutely! To me, Gran Turismo isn't Gran Turismo without Grand Valley, It was a favorite of mine in all the games they've released.

Agreed! I have such fond memories of Grand Valley and only dread to think how many virtual laps I have clocked up over the years! Great circuit for racing too. 👍
 
Ok back on subject.
Does anyone know how big a 'track file' in GT5P is.
Like I mentioned earlier. If it isn't possible to down load( server overload/ bandwith/ etc.) additional tracks after GT5 is released then the track list IMO is probably already set in stone. It would be nice to know. Hopefully someone will discover some info on this subject.

Everyone complains we have to many low PP events when we have them, everyone complains when we have to many high PP events.

Give us a proper lobby system where we can pick and choose restrictions and just a couple of normal events for a 'public and private' style game, so you can always be prepared for the public events by restriction, and you can always arrange the private restrictions to suit each other.
 
Niurburgring(for the lap times and the challenge), Ferrari Enzo(to kick the ford gt's ass online),a rally car(to drift around eiger) and the oil change and car wash features(to remember to service regularly or you will have a dirty sluggish car)

Dont you read what people replied?
The Japanese version of GT5P got 1 track, iirc ca. 30 new cars, quick tune, splitscreen and more with the Spec II patch, theres no problem....

Ok seeing as this is more like the things we're all asking for here who just want more now as apposed to realistic simple add-ons who want benchmark cars and tracks to be added onto the PROLOGUE. It'd be nice but c'mon think real, they put the Nurburgring in they've just given some people all they'll really want in the full game!

I want them to put the entire car and track list from GT4 in, fully modelled. I want all tracks to have full day/night cycles, weather cycles, full damage model, damage to track barriers, I want it all by next month and I also want a piece of cheese to come with my update that has been matured for years and can only be found in the deepest darkest cave where a magical cow lives called Dorothy.

Oh and my original request for private and public lobbies to be sorted out.
 
Another suggestion - How about a substantial amount of credits if you set a top 20 (or somehing similar) record in a time trial?

ah yes...this is why I said GT...not nordschliefe.
......oh..and more realistic looking tyre smoke would be nice too - PD should look at rockstar's efforts with GTA4.

I'm not aiming my comment at anyone in particular, but the general consesous is answer the question 'Would you like...' with anything and everything which would make the full game less impacting upon release. The longer we wait, the sweeter it gets. The Prologue should be used to try things out, like different online features, different physics, not new cars and tracks because they can be tested internally quite easily.
 
...and my point is that I agree that the nurburgring nordschliefe should be untouched until the full version, but if the boffins at PD can give us 3 new cars we've never had before, a new track (such as nuburgring GT) is not out of the question.
 
they will give us only one car for me.... fairlady Z jtcc.... with damage only in this car to try feeling..
however if not, the damage system will be implemented only in full version release game, and for me damage will be in race car only like mr yama told times ago....
