I'd be happy if we seen some more footage/screen shots and information on Standard cars, Confirmation of Aussie content and I don't really care about the weather but to see something about that would be pretty decent.

My *reasonable* dream of an announcement simply confirms Spa, Laguna Seca, Monaco, Trial Mountain, Deep Forrest, and Grand Valley Speedway (full). This would make me a happy, happy man.

However, I would explode if they also reveal that Porsches will be included in the game (as much as I doubt it).

please stop with the Porsche comments as you already know it's not in the game due to a license issue.

Can't wait really:sly: Hope to finally see the weather effects - basically the rain interests me. I have my new 250gb ps3 in storage for about 6 months now - abit paranoid it might break before November:) Paranoia, i know - already lost a 60g ps3 so i'm taking no chances.

..Roll on TGS.. and then i'll put away GT4 until November....and then....HAAALLLELLUUJAAAH!👍
 
What I expect: Premium CR-Z, Insight, HSV-10, LFA (maybe the Nissan Leaf?).

What I'm hoping to see: Premium Japanese classics (2000GT, S800, etc.).

Of course it's possible. Just look at how GTAIV has better graphics than many dedicated racing games from past generations. All it takes is more system resources, and in a couple of generations we will be playing GTA games that have graphics as good as GT5 has now. The only thing is, Gran Turismo will have moved on as well.
 
Jeez if GTA got any more realistic they'd have trouble passing classification. Some of the pedestrians I strike make me cringe already.

I think a AE86 will be premium. It has to be right? All the really popular cars are!
I know I'll be spending too much time in one so it would be nice :D

I'd like to see some online features, maybe some b-spec & fantasy tracks I'm sure theres a new one!

Haha! Nothing quite like flooring it down a long straight, on the sidewalk! Looking at some of the movies they pass, GTA is way off being in trouble of passing classification...bring it on!

PD should give us a teaser of what a next gen GTA could be like by letting us mow down our pit crew :lol:
 
Fingers crossed and clutching at straws for a mode similar to Shutokou Battle X being included... :D

Seriously though, the game's graphics and physics would lend themselves so well to being used in more racing genres than just the one. If Polyphony made something like SBX or TDU, then they'd truly own the world.
 
Personally I'll be very happy if the GT5 Arcade mode will turn out to be similar to the EPR "Enthusia Life" mode with semi-random races, random prizes, no money, simplified car upgrades, ladder system, etc. That would mean I'd actually play the Arcade mode for more than 15 minutes (rather, several hours!).

Yep, but we are speaking about current PS3 hardware not PS4-5.
 
Thankfully, I'm not going to this one. But I will, unfortunately, be awake at 6am, when the press conference is on. Can anyone recommend a stream?
