Doesn't the Rockingham layout (IRL) look like a cowboy hat... or did I dream that? :D

I see the OP's point - who knows...!

I'm fairly certain that courses are not designed to look like specific objects/animals/etc. Some may be I guess, but it's essentially the same as a Warshak test or looking at clouds. The mind thinks in shapes and pictures and we can easily draw associations between similar shapes.

I think you're probably right (but you mean Rorschach test), for example I always think that Monaco looks like a striking serpent and Silverstone GP looks like a pair of Y-fronts.

Does that make me crazy? :scared:

I once owned a F1-game (F1 1995 or something), including a special track which had the shape of a Formula-car (with wheels and spoilers), and I liked it very much!

👍
I remember this! It was 'Formula One', the first F1 game on the PS1. You unlocked it after winning the championship.

The bonus track form F1 '97, the cool Wipeout inspired city track would make a cool GT track!

Tell me I'm not the only person who's noticed this.

A profile view of a bear... running. RAWR

The pit straight is his back, the set of corners on the left are his hind legs, the long straight and corners on the bottom right are his deformed front legs, and the corner on the top right is his head.

I don't even know anymore, man.

I've noticed Nurburgring GP/F looks like a runner, and Suzuka looks like a key, but I can't see the bear in Trial Mountain.

Since we're on the same subject... Laguna Seca looks like the side of a guy's head looking up.

Glad I'm not the only one who's seen this.

Some I noticed:

Circuit de la Sarthe sort of looks like a guy with his mouth open if you look at it vertically. Just look at how the map is displayed in the game to see what I mean.

Nur looks like a pig's head.

Grand Valley is shaped like the continental United States.

I agree with the nurb looking like a pigs head, and WOW I never noticed that..

Trial Mountain, no bear.
High speed ring = Bear.

Midnight Snacks

I don't know what kind of bears you have seen, it looks nothing like a bear, at least I can't see it. Although nurb looks a lot like a pigs head lol

autumn ring mini looks a little like a crude map of Britain (minus Ireland)
