Addressing the thread topic, personally I've felt a bit more burn on GT6, AI on certain races does make you work, then again the whole single-file-last-car-across-the-line-starts-the-race doesn't help, it's high time we do without that. Also sad to see AI lift off when you're overtaking, unless you're on a straight pretty much.

To tell you the truth, I haven't noticed. I've spent so much time on the seasonal time trials enjoying the new physics engines that the days and weeks have flown by.

I've driven most of the career mode tracks so many times that most of the "newbie" challenge that I once felt are pretty much gone except maybe Fuji and the one at Nurburg, so if I was concerned about it in the first place, I'd probably say "yeah, it is", because that "new track" portion of the challenge is gone. I'm not saying I'm "pro", but they're all mostly very familiar now, so many of the challenges associated with the unfamiliar are gone. Shrug. It's a drag but not possible to stop without forgetting all the laps you've put in at (insert track name)

Edit: but imo it's ok. GT6 is only going to get better, challenging A-spec or no.

Well in honesty, if you actually focus on clearing the events and challenges instead of taking time to experience all the other aspects, you will eventually beat the game. The game isn't hard, its only hard if you are stubborn in your racing. The game makes you adjust and drive better, and if you do, clearing the events is like a breeze. Fortunately, the game is so wide in its possibilities that you don't feel like you're close to finishing it up.

I spend time in photo mode looking for the perfect shot, spent a whole week on that (you can find me in the Realistic Photo Thread! ) and then I spent a couple days tuning some cars for fast lap times, only these past two days have I actually been focused on clearing every event, and even then it takes me a good day to get through one license level.

When the last VGT car has been released and all the features are out for at least a good 3-4 months, then we can think about GT7, I mean the game is still out for close to only a month.

If you spent anytime at all driving gran turismo 5 this game is going to be simple for you. If your new to Gran turismo its going to be a challenge. Gt5 was just nasty.

I dont know if its easier to drive in this game or just that im used to it now. The first time i drove that thing there were several curse words i tell you...

Well I was in a coulpe of races where I had to work hard to win, not because I suck at the game, but the reason is that I always use cars that are leveled with the ones that the AI uses, it makes it harder to catch the leader, but for me is more fun.... You can modify your cars to beat the other guys easily, but I like to work a little more for that win...
