Nothing was out of context.
You also said that anyone can drive a GT3 and that he isn't a good driver

Also in response to my comment that i disputing you would be a decent driver your claim to being decent was Street racing

And that you could show Chris and Nissan "how its done"
My post got messed up and I don't know how to edit it properly on my smartphone, read the rest of it, after the racing part go down to where it starts at the smiley face, just some of my driving credentials.

I swear anything you say on GTPlanet gets taking out of context, if you all would actually read some peoples post and at least try to understand what someone is saying instead of trying to dissect then bash people for what they said, maybe GTPlanet or the internet for that matter would be a more better place. Read my previous post, I said thankfully Mr Hoy was ok and nobody in the crowd was hurt. Safety is first and foremost in my book. Cars can be replaced a life can't.

Then you can ban all motorsport because it was, it is and it will always be dangerous!

It's ok mate but the kettle on , and breath hehe we all get like that was a bit of a over reaction :gtpflag:

Micheal who hahahah

Alister Reid hit the flint wall yesterday and left a bit of a mess, not to mention losing a tyre/wheel lol.
Anyone can have a moment like this when you are driving on the edge like these people do.
It takes much bigger b***s than I have just to get in the car...

I'm sure @vr6cas is on his way to goodwood just now to show him how it's done i mean its not like Anthony Reid has ever won at goodwood......oh wait

That was *Richard Hammond voiceover* Touring Car legend Anthony Reid.

Sorry, mind in a tizz after all the excitement yesterday. Alister McRae was there if I recall correctly and my mind was jumbling them up :boggled:

Anyway, the point still applies, whoever it was this kind of driving at the limit carries risks.
After the crash they restarted and someone skidded out at the same point almost straight away so they had to stop the runs for the rest of the day. Totally understandable and the correct decision.

Fantastic day. Now back to the pics while I watch the 2 hour special on Sky2 from 3pm BST...:D

I've been watching most of it via the live streaming. It's been a great weekend for the show. 👍

There have of course been a few crashes.. which is somewhat expected with fast cars and the narrow hillclimb course. If they didn't want to risk the cars, they'd be parked in the paddock areas and there'd be no fun of watching the cars make their runs up the hill, or get the moments with the legendary drivers driving/riding their classic race machines.

Because it's amazing!!! :embarrassed:
I don't see how several people (including you :grumpy:) think This car is ugly....
Seriously!?
This car is sexy literally no joke!!!!
Look!!!

Shekshee! :D
Everyone has their own opinions, right? Some people might like it or hate it. Some people might find it sexy or 🤬 ugly. At the end of the day, Vision GT cars are concept cars for GT6 (I'm not 100% sure on this). So we don't have to worry about those manufacturers putting the VGT cars into the production (except Mercedes-Benz VGT).

Just seen the Nissan GT-R Nismo crash at goodwood and I don't know if it's true but GTAcademy winner Jann was driving one of the two of the GT-Rs, someone said he was in the camouflaged time attack one and boy o boy, I have a new respect for him, he almost broke a record, he was on it, nice job Jann if that was you driving and it's proof that GTAcademy produces some fast drivers. Jann even drove the number 80 GT-R GT3 up the hill and was fast and was going for a time and not showboating. The guy that crashed I don't know what he was doing. Maybe he should have practiced more on the game, I bet Jann did.-Jann
They said that particular corner is quite tricky to manage and a lot of cars have crashed on that spot over the years. I guess that poor Chris Hoy had an understeer due to carrying too much speed into the corner. But yeah, the crash gave a little chink in the Nissan's armor.

Could be days, weeks or months (1 in a half or 2) to model that single stature. Really, IMO, time is better spent improving the game than redecorating a track.

I'm inclined to agree, but judging by the scale and quality of the work done to the track, I doubt it was time they could have spent modelling a new car, upgrading a standard car, or basically doing anything significant.

Are you kidding? Why not? ;)

For anyone that's interested here's what 1360 horses sounds like.

PD - if possible, please please please can we have the ONE : 1, LaFerrari, Porsche 918 and P1 in the game at some point in the future. They were all superb to watch and listen to.

I'd also love to see some of the classics added, especially the 2 silver arrow Mercedes which were driven up the hill together by Sir Stirling Moss and Lord March

But I'd take anything that was being driven on Saturday, all the cars were great to watch.

If anyone is interested, I have uploaded all my photos (including lots of footage of the new sculpture) now to :

Would love any of those, PD are slow in getting new cars though, well unless it's a GTR (jk)
