Shots fired!!
Don't worry about the settings that relate to this event - anything goes as far as it's permitted by the game itself.
When you need to take it all off, or take the cleats off and wear bunny slippers, there are threads that will take your prowess with the adequate eye-boggling. I usually also try the events with all off but TCS1, ABS 1, and then with all off but only SRF on (a very strange ride indeed

) and sometimes with all off and dropping a compound - and if I win the race (100% clean is always my intention or the win doesn't count) then I'm happy personally.
Then I strap on all the possible weapons that PD can give me if I'm going 'hunting' for trophies.

I did win with the F40 (all off and by milliseconds) and that gave me pleasure - but everybody was crawling. It was still a continual heart-attack.
Then I strapped on TCS 1, ABS 1, SRF, everything else off, and went after Thompson - and boy did he suddenly take off like a jack-rabbit. Must have known I was fully armed. The whole field got aggressive too (subjective) after I flicked on SRF.
Talking about default trophies . . .
I won a trophy by default once, too;
MTM79 won two of the Whoosier-ruled events, and since Players are allowed to grab only one Whoosier-ruled trophy per round, he took the Intermediate and gave me the Experts - IIRC. (Hot Rod Transformer - driving the Dome Zero.)
I was still happy to grab a title.
It's just a game - a trivial pursuit that gives us a driving fix, a tuning fix, a car-porn fix.
I know enjoying Gran Turismo at GTPlanet is like eating ice cream while running through a minefield (not to worry - we seem to be on the way to changing that

)
But there are many, many 'threads'/'discussions'/projects' involving core players and fans of production and iconic automobiles and where there is nothing but respect for the fellow players, good clean fun experienced and even a certain level of competing that promotes the development of various driving skills like this particular AI Hub activity that some of us are visibly involved in.
The fact that you were the only one on the board remaining (and I gotta hand it to you - that Fiat Accordianist time was great) does not mean many others are not trying out the event, some beating the benchmark time but remaining silent, some possibly competing in a group with agreed settings and keeping the results to themselves, and some trying and wanting to throw in a time but maybe too shy of the limelight.
I see you acing the
Pace Car Ace event if you work at solving the problem. Bunching them up is easy - how to get them across the line fast? What to do about the laggard at the end of the pack? If not for him I would have brought the whole pack in in less than a second.
These are all technical driving tests that require more than just the ability to drive fast from point A to point B. These events actually need some thought, and exceptional in-pack driving skills, great knowledge of the track and its pitfalls and advantages. Gran Turismo's exceptional flexibilty across the board in the use of cars and tracks is unbeatable for these types of player-designed scenarios.
And, yes, you have a ticket to design an event - use the current Beginner Seasonal for it.
Just remember that the rules and regs must follow PDs rules and regs for the event - this way all results are verifiable.
Or you may wait for the next Beginner seasonal and see what comes up. The sector you are designing the event for is the Entry-level race that aliens are barred from.
Again - don't stress out about it. Eating ice cream, remember?
I usually plug the gaps. 👍
In addition:
The Moose holds a ticket, and so does
steve nfs for Intermediate challenges that they can send me anytime and I shall set them up.
