Ok so after some investigation I found that if you use another device other than the PS3 you can "save" another person's track on the GT6 community page. By Doing it the way I described in the first post about this... Unfortunately, I got called into work so I can't check on my PS3 to see for sure that I can can then find the track in GT6. I can only confirm that it shows up on My personal GT6 community page on my mobile browser...

I will also fix the original post I posted about this subject...

I'm really sorry for the confusion. Sure hope it works now...

Edit: It Works!! I tried it with a couple of tracks both from my PC and my phone, both tracks we're saved and able to be used in game!

Not a problem - let us know how it works. There are many ways to get this done, and we may as well figure them out.
Thanks for all the effort. I, myself have not got around to settling on a tablet yet, and I have been away from the console quite a bit, so I'm in no stressed out hurry - as Steve mentioned - it's early days for this app.

For the Open Event race

and for the intermediate level challenge race.

Yay, it works! Nice track, @TheInfamousJEW6. The Cobra is a slippery beast even on SS. I've only tried one grid so don't know if Gruber is going to be the fastest rabbit. Zondas are usually pretty quick though.
If anyone is having trouble sending a FR to TheInfamousJEW6, there is a 9 at the end of his PSN which doesn't appear in the truncated version in the thread. Caught me out anyway.

OP updated to this point.
Any new players in here confused by terms like 'Whoosier Rule', 'VicReign Rights', 'MTM Cards', 'nowayback Clause', etc, please refer to Post #2 where the lore is explained. Thanks.

@StirlingMoose - good point about the Jew's PSN ID - I noticed this some time ago and had a bit of a chuckle at his flip side. Hope everybody else who wants to download his tracks also notices his GTPlanet ID is a truncated one and will not work.

I'd already done this in the Yellow Bird but with abs, so wasn't coming into it blind, but without abs it's hilarious. Didn't get anywhere near the apex of turn one in my first race. Barely kept it on the track actually. The braking point is pretty much exactly where you land which makes it interesting. Started to come together on my second attempt but still locking up all over the place.

Well it's not his birth year so who knows.
BTW you've got the RUF race down as at High Speed Ring in the OP.

Oops sorry guys! There IS a 9 missing! For what reason, I don't remember at this time! But at the bottom of all my posts is my PSN ID! I can't wait to get a little more seat time!

Still away from console. Grrrrrrrrr! Sometimes it's a pain to be an adult.

@TheInfamousJEW6 - It's possible that GTP doesn't allow such a long userID (not sure.) If there is no cap on the amount of letters then you can always change it - become a Premium Member and support the site! :D

Absolutely - I did this race only twice with the Corvette C06, then jumped into my stock Yellowbird for some fun and was pleasantly surprised; the RUF rocks at this track. Did the race six times and only got to P3 (same field.) But I intend going back and seeing whether I can clip off some time.

The Yellollowbird is a great car to boss - and if one gets it right it's a most satisfying feeling. This car comes alive when you free it of all restrictions. I keep one stock, and maintained, and the other I have is a tuned monster.

Thanks, Moose - missed that one. 👍 Fixed now.

For the intermediate level challenge for the larges gap between 1st & 2nd, you got me 1st on the leaderboard it should be @Baron Blitz Red 👍.

Thanks. hall - fixed now. 👍
I really should stop jumping in and out of here while at work. :ouch: But right now the atmosphere is quite electric with the news of GT Sports.

Interesting plot: in one of the races at Deep Forest we are chasing the fastest AI, in the other the slowest.

Well . . . back later . . . much, much later. I'm heading into a warehouse full of people-killing machines, so no random browsing. :(

Found a little time earlier to take the Cappuccino out! What a blast to drive! The first field with Jantunen felt like a fast field that I used to tune this little gem.

20151025_144355.jpg

The second field felt slower, but Oshima really turned it on when I finally caught him on his island then went around him! Great little car!

The King Cobra Event is going to be infinitely interesting - even for spectators. There are so many diverse fields coming up as the game engine throws various cars at the individual players who are trying this. It was a good call - asking for the fastest AI - because we can see that the fastest AI is beginning to surface, and thereby also showing us the real prowess of the various cars they use.
That NSX Prototype LM . . . what a great car. Nice job teasing him out, Steve. 👍

Be careful.

Thanks, Hall; I have to lock down a fairly giant facility at night, and yes, it contains various machines that can kill -from guillotines and compactors to forklifts and skyjacks, so I don't want any of them suddenly coming alive and coming after me. What with being Halloween and all I could meet Christine around the corner. :mischievous:
Still busy out on the field so unable to get back for a comfortable session at my console and now beginning to hurt as I see all you guy's times go up and I haven't contributed anything at all.

I think U. Jantunen just gave up when the Red Baron went flying pass him on the last lap . View attachment 469765

That was a really strange race. Why on Earth did he slow down that much? This guy can do sub 6:00s. you must have really scared the 🤬 out of him in some way. Maybe snapped the rubberband so hand it hit him in the face.

I sorted out (hopefully correctly) all the boards you guys have sent in, and cleaned up the OP; tell me if there is anything in error. 👍

I thought racing against U. Jantunen it would be hard to get a good gap between him, and I watch the replay and he did slow down for some reason and he did not make any mistakes, but the race before that it was hard to shake him of for a 5 second win.

Absolutely right ! Sometime, if U. Jantunen too slow, K. Oshima at P3 will overtake U. Jantunen on last lap. Both of them will chase each others to cross the line under 6.00 min. Too bad I didn't snap the picture. :nervous:

Takes a bow..I'd just like to thank my friends and family who have encouraged me on my journey, and to all those who have helped me with tunes and advice, and of course Photonrider, who has made all this possible, but most of all I'd like to thank @nowayback for going away for two weeks and without whose absence I would probably not be standing here now.
Seriously though, I'm chuffed to obtain my VicReign Rights and looking forward to participating in the special events.

Photonrider, you know you can save a copy of the OP in case you have another senior moment.

Now then, two tickets. I'm having trouble coming up with something for the beginner race. I've tried out a few ideas but 6 laps in a slow car can be pretty soporific. I thought maybe "how many cars can you lap?" but even with a fully decked out GSX-R I couldn't quite catch the back-marker. @steve nfs had the great idea of doing pit-stops but that's hard to prove. If anyone has any ideas I'll be happy to hand them my ticket.

I know we've just had the Cappuccino but we only got a few days to enjoy it and it was such fun, so for the intermediate one I'd like to propose -

Objective: Largest gap P1 to P2 (player must win)
Vehicle: Cappuccino (EA21R) '95

Worthy !!! Congrats, finally you are where you belong .

The Moose has proved he could win with a soapbox on castors. :D.
And that tenacious Hall never fails to amaze me.

I am going to be very interested to see what these guys would do when the eSports competitions start up - I'm hoping all dedicated Rabbit Hunters here - having so much experience at rubbing shoulders with the most outrageous competitors (our crazy AI, of course) - will be aces at these coming regulated eSports events. We must practise!
More racing!

Having said that I am now in a state of withdrawals - still no chance to get at my console. Unable to post up any more events for the moment, but will do my best to get something up tonight. Hall seems to have shied away from the Expert's - even though he has the ticket - so I'm taking it that he's holding out till the next Seasonal. With this in mind I would like to schedule a 3-week race (till next seasonals) for the Expert Seasonal.

I would like to feature the Furai - and I would also like to honour @nowcontrol for all the hard work around here in this subforum.

I would like to name the Open Challenge after nowcontrol - I know that nowcontrol shares (with me) a special love for the Furai - and I will be looking for fastest overall time. At this point I have no way to come up with a timesheet; if anybody else (all players) wants to take the Furai (all systems go) to the new Eifel track at the Experts Seasonal and come up with a starter timesheet they are more than welcome to do so - or else I will have to see if I can whip up a timesheet sometime tonight (I haven't run the race even once yet - so that in itself is going to be an experience  )

I am confident that the Furai would not only be a great drive at this track but will put up a really magnificent race and an astounding time in the hands of the right driver.

I am holding on until the next Seasonal with my ticket, is that ok.

Yup. The rules are that the winner has two Seasonals to work with - to give a player time, or else give them the privilege of skipping the current one. You may do the next one for sure. If you don't -the ticket becomes invalid. This to eliminate players holding on to their tickets for too long and suddenly congesting the Hub with Challenges.

I have a tuned Subaru 360 '68 somewhere in my garage, and I will get it out later and see what it can do. Thanks photonrider 👍.

Here is a starting timesheet for y'all. 👍

This is my very first run for this event and I know it's not going to be my fastest because the AI were a complete nuisance for the most of it so plenty of time to gain from proper AI navigation alone.

I can't believe how fast and far they come across the track when exiting the pits  I got put into the barriers starting lap 3 by one of those missiles. :irked:

Interesting to hear. Are these rabbits on to us?
I finally have time tonight to get back to the console and of course my first foray would be to tackle these monsters - rabbits with teeth, eh? Maybe the Furai pisses them off. Maybe it's them responsible for setting it on fire.
Well, they are all going to get hammered by a multitude of players in Furais now - let's see how old Skynet likes that. :D

Hear, hear. It takes a lot of effort, discipline, and skill, too, in getting those threads up on time and so very well done - not to mention the time taken. We're not talking one thread here or a thread here and there, but a consistent, well-regulated series of threads that are popular and immensely helpful in gathering all the good racers, as well as learners, for their input.
So let's race 'a toast' to him. ;)

And now . . . off to the races.

If there is a hill to climb driving this little mouse, more excited.
ps: Is it Subaru 360 '58 ? Not '68. Not at my console, just guess.
