My 76 pass photo is from the GT-R (challenge 4)

I figured that when I've looked at the logo on the steering wheel in the picture you posted and I went back and edited my post to include also the car type.

The GT-R challenge will be fun.

Nice job on the 1.7 gap in the Kart. I kept going faster and so did P2 no matter what. Tried at least 20 times with various fields.

Sorry - reminder that this round will be over 04:00 BST on 05/05/16 (except for Jet Karter which will go on till the 12th as outlined.)

Thanks.

I tried, but I just couldn't do any better (on either side of 4:35).

Congrats, Top Stud. ;)

I see that the venerable @nowcontrol has brought us the new events - and I have to admit I'm already excited; the Nurb and Monza are going to be fun battles. You winning ticket holders can start looking to make up those challenges. Those who have access to The Hatch may bring your challenges in there for finalising before publication, others may contact me via the Conversation feature. Thanks. 👍

I gave the Sierra challenge a go, and after being increasingly frustrated by the bad behavior of the ai, I finally got a clean run.

However, the game glitched out on me, showing the correct overtake count (76), but missing one pass in the max combo (75). As evidented by the "perfect bonus", I did not hit anything or anyone.
View attachment 488650

I looked at the replay, and indeed, it should be 76 max combo:
View attachment 488652

Some more info that could be interesting to know:

There are a total of 73 cars you can pass in this challenge, the last car is a white BMW M4, then the list of cars resets, next car is the red MB 300SL and green BMW 507 you first encounter, then the red Ferrari 250 and beige VW Beetle, and so on. but because these are so slow, they will almost always end up in a heard of cars towards the end, atleast the MB 300SL will. And you will encounter them before the white BMW M4.
There could be another superfast rabbit in front of the BMW, but I doubt it, as I have not seen it even when giving it the beans, not bothered to make it clean, and I have caught the beetle, shelby 350, and even had the Ford GT40 in sight, but no "new" cars.
In this run I passed the ferrari, but not the beetle, wich means there is 73 cars in total before it resets.

The last few cars I passed in this run was:
-yellow Lexus LFA nbr
-blue Hyundai Genesis
-light blue mustang boss 302
-black Acura NSX concept
-red MB 300SL
-green BMW 507
-black corvette C7
-white BMW M4
-red Ferrari 250

Now, I'd like to improve this, and I have a question to @photonrider: for the "Quantum Rabbits" challenge, do the run need to be "clean", or is it enough to just get the highest possible overtake count, any means neccesary?

Sierra Time Rally Race 2 VW Scirocco R'10

68 overtakes.

The current title holder @Vic Reign93 stands at 67 cars overtaken cleanly (combo).

But is there some sort of glitch happening in here? We had the same problem with @TRL_Andromeda's entry.

Updating OP now with the new Sierra times anyway - if any appeals please let me know.

OP updated with new Trophy winners. RMan72 takes a jump up the Board :

RMan72
The Plum Crazy Trophy
Flight Club Leader
Fiddler in the RUF
Commander B. B. Boogity Award
The Inimitable Intimidator
The Detonator

. . . leap-frogging several players in the process, while lasrjock, bjl23, and GTsail290 are in the fight for that third Trophy that makes them fully licenced GTHunters with access to the cosiness of The Hatch:

bjl23
The GT300 NO FEAR Award
GT300 Super Gas Torch

GTsail290

The French Kaiser
The Mountain Mover

lasrjock

The Speed Razor
Top Stud

Good luck with this new round, guys!

Congrats to StirlingMoose adding another 'Bird' trophy to his belt - this guy is nigh unbeatable in any RUF:

Stirling Moose
Cape Ring Captain
Tank God
The Ringbird
High-Speed Star
The CTR 'Yellowbird' Trophy
The Whizzard of Oz.
NASCAR Windstormer
NASCAR Ringleader
The Pro-Tourer Guru
Highwaytripper Hippie
Deep Driver
Speedbird

Finally - the legendary (that word is an understatement now) nowayback adds yet another crown to his vast collection - I've lost count. How many scalps has this guy bagged - or should I be asking how many hides?

nowayback
GT-R Maestro
The Supercar Sorceror
Nordschleife Trophy - MB 300 SL '54
The Hot Hatch Hondo
The LM Visionary
The Classic FR Speed Fiend
The Electric Friend Tester
The Daytona Star
The Willow Wind Reaper
The French Connector
Aero B.A.T. Pilot
Speedy Spidey
Slipstream Supersports Trophy
The Tachyonic Terminator
The Elise 111R Trophy
Confidence in Motion Award
The Horse Whisperer
The Rocketeer
Gullwing Squadron Leader
NASCAR Gearhead
Corvette Operator
JGTC Ringleader
The Hare Splitter
The Horsefather
Beemer Dreamweaver
The Herd Bull
Bathurst Touring Car Cup
The Wheel Devil

Looks like 28. That's just crazy. Congrats @nowayback - there's no way anyone is going to beat that now as our game winds to a close this summer.

The 200 000 bonus on the bottom is showing the race was clean, all passes legit. I will post replays for all of them soon. The last pass was right before the finish line and somehow, the game doesn't see it.

Here is the new record for the 3rd Sierra Rally Challenge with Ferrari -

45 clean passes with 200 000 bonus.

Yup - as we can see from TRL_Andromeda's post, too, this seems to be a game glitch - so we will take it as clean passes right to the end. 👍

Thank you for participating and raising the bar - I'm in the process of updating the OP with all new information.

Quickly went in the game and made a short video with the last section of the challenge, and watch what is happening.

I tried to pause it right at the end, but the game fades away and restarts the replay with the last combo on the screen as valid, but the same combo doesn't get recorded for the final result.

Yes. Pretty weird - though it probably makes sense to some code warrior out there. Glad you captured that - very pertinent info in this thread since the focus is on studying the antics of the AI to have a better understanding of how the Artificial Intelligence plays and records the game.
This is all about those little red and yellow men again - - though to get that joke you'll have to read far back in this discussion.

Edit: There you go @whySOSerious - your name up in lights as well deserved - title holder of GT6 Sierra Champ, Races 1, 2 and 3.
Kudos to @Vic Reign93 for holding on to all those titles for a record long time. 👍

To have that much of an MOV in a kart race is mind-boggling. We really push this game.

First crack at Slicky Click R

Ridiculous amount of grip with inters. IRL I'd have been off at the first corner...and every other corner.

And the Ground Effects Master. This is seriously fun. Coming down off the first banking, flat out... not quite, yet, it starts to dance about, shaking all over. Maybe I need a better set-up.

Don't worry about the shaking, you're driving a car that's been in the museum for the last 75 years....keep your foot into it!!:D The car's made for the banking:

I can't imagine how terrifying that would have been. Do you know where the track is?

Monza Star

Thanks to @MTM79 for coming to my rescue with what turns out to be a nice challenge. I'm going round the chicanes for now, just because it's more fun. I'd never done a tuned Stratos before so I whacked on all the upgrades, removed the camber and toe and set off, not realising I'd turned off abs last time I'd used it. The first chicane was a big surprise. Still managed to get to the front, braking very early and very gently, as it's so fast at 530PP. This time was done with abs however.

Sorry, I don't remember, and I didn't save the replay so I can't check that:(

At the start of these particular races, my focus was on trying to get thru turn one as fast as I could, and I wasn't thinking about who the lead car was until much later in the lap when I started to hope that I could catch and pass the race leader in a favorable spot:nervous:

I ran against this lineup 3-4 times, but sadly have no memory of where the Lotus started. He probably started on pole, but that would only be an assumption of mine.
