@fordlaser777 - Here's my best time against that same Slicky Click R lineup:

This was run yesterday afternoon, but I've changed my car since then so I can't re-view this particular lineup.:(

I got a 8:22.751 today but I got held up by a AI, I think I give this one a rest for awhile because of the weather.

Back once again for the Ground Effects Master

According to the Gran Turismo Wiki "This car is not recommended on tracks with very low speed corners such as Gran Turismo Arena..."

Why ever not? Surely 3-point turns are fun.

Okay, I tried Ground Effects Master and it felt like I was driving a boat out there. The best I have been able to do is beating P12 by only ~14 seconds.

Nearly three weeks. I hope he's just too busy or on holiday.

If he went on holidays you would think he would have said that, and as you said he is just to busy and l hope as well.

This is really weird race car . Maybe uncontrollable than my avatar car :scared: After a few error tune, just got it  but still not perfect. Good lap StirlingMoose. 👍

Gave the Ground Effects Master a go using the setup posted earlier in this thread. Discovered something interesting, when using the T300RS wheel, the car really dislikes turning and is very much a land yacht. Switching to a DS3 and the car handles fairly decently but I am slower when using a controller. Don't understand why Leitner is shown a lap down as I never lapped him.

Well, if that's the case I have one of those pictures with Leitner doing so in the 11th position.

Thursday has come around and still no sign of @photonrider (getting worried about him now) so I've done the provisional results. Let me know of any errors or omissions

Unfortunately @nowayback's rather excellent expert event never made it to the OP so I think I'm the only other to have a go at it and I only managed P5 so I guess we can say nowayback won that one.
So what now? Do we carry on in our esteemed leader's absence?

I vote for carrying on. If anybody is friends with @photonrider, please send him our best wishes.

I've been handed the controls but only just realised so if we want to get this show back on the road the following have won tickets and are invited to design an event.

GTSail290 - Expert
RMan72 - Intermediate
StirlingMoose - Beginner
Nowayback - Expert

I've updated the trophy winners list and am pleased to announce that the redoubtable GTSail is now a licensed hunter. I have to admit that I'm at a loss regarding a new beginner event, having tried a few out. Maybe we should see what Thursday brings.

I'll be checking the hatch for your ideas. Unfortunately I can't invite @GTsail290 to join the conversation because photonrider is still the owner, but if you PM me I'll keep you in the loop. Maybe it's time to set up a new hatch.

New beginner event up - Gee-up Ponies
See if you can get one of this bunch of middle-aged playboys and rich kids to put in a decent time. Fastest time for one of the AI is the goal. You can pull them along from the front or push them from behind. It's an excuse to drive some Ferraris and you won't really need any tuning or aids.

Do you have to win the race?
