Kaz must love you.... you patient man !I'll wait a decade if necessary.
A PS3 game and a next gen one can't be compared, its simply unfair because of the huge system limits of the PS3.
Then I would say GT6 wins clearly.Feature and gameplay-wise yes, we can.

But, wait, we should first see PCars released before anything else...
The problem I have with PCARS is that it's overdone left and right, the sounds, the graphics, the motion effects, etc. It makes Forza look natural and sound realistic.
PCARS' sounds irritate me, the distortion and volume level are just retarded plus they keep using samples from the Shift games, somebody should just tell me right now, are they actually going to do anything new? or are they just going to keep distorting samples into Oblivion.
Souless? Are you sure?

Spot on. Two different games for 2 different kinds of customers. GT is obviously more laid back and designed primarily for the very casual player whereas PCars is directed more towards a pure racing experience. Like comparing a mini-van to a Ferrari, each has a specific use.It all goes down to what are you looking for. If you want a racing game, with proper racing simulation, then PCars is going to be best. No silly gameplay modes on this one.
But if you want something closer to Forza and GT, of course, the game isn't ideal for you.
I think you should learn more about the development and the assets used in this PRE-ALPHA stage.
So we are comparing an unfinished game to an unreleased game now.
This should be a hint to PD...we are bored, would you please finish our game!Comical, isn't it?
For some, yes. I really don't care much about racing cars... driving normal, road cars is what appeals me most. I read they signed with Audi, more road models coming. This is good.
A racing game, need to have at least 100 good cars to be considered a Gran Turismo contender, imho. And a decent career mode.
Pick a car, pick a track, race. MEH.
Start a career small, buy your first car, upgrade it, race and race and race, earn cash, buy another one. Rinse and repeat. Car ownership is essential to a racing game imho.
Even Shift 2 did that... SMS can do it on PCARS. I hope they do it because their road courses are great.
Project CARS right now its just like that gorgeous dumb girls. It's good for a night, or two, or a week, once in a while. But it's not what you would choose to raise your children, to marry you. Gran Turismo is a good wife... with all its pros, and cons.

Do you have some recently posted examples of these unrealistic and unnatural sounds and graphics? I've watched quite a few PCars videos and I'm quite happy with both. I've seen a few side by side real vs. PCars videos and they always look pretty spot on to me.So how long are they gonna keep doing it? I mean, supposedly, the sounds of some cars are already "finished" but I keep hearing the same thing just with more layers, it's not like they started development a few months ago, it's been a couple of years.
Are they saving it for the last moment like PD? The sounds might be good enough for some, not me though, I just want natural and realistic sounds and graphics.
Dumb girl??PCars will have a carreer mode.I find GT the dumb girl with its ageing mechanics, unreallistic representation of racing, pokemonesque collectibles obsession and foreseeable single player structure.
Just to put it on perspective: GT is all about Red Bulls and uselless VGTs. PCars got LMP1 concepts that are very reallistic to put in the game. This shows commitment to an idea and focus to the main concept of the game, racing simulation. In the other hand, GT is giving you the chance to drive on the moon as if it were the next big thing in racing games.
I don't think anything like that will be released in the next console generation. Might have been in the past (personally I don't know) but it just wouldn't sell on consoles. With that said, don't have your hopes up with Project Cars on that side of the spectrum, which ultimately is what a lot of us want in the GT series: real racing.
How is GT all about Red bulls and VGT's;and why are they useless?
That is why it will come with options. Want to play with assists, no rules or damage? No problem. We'll only know when the game is released, but really I don't have any hope on that as people do like Need For Speed and Mario Kart racing. The console crowd would be frustrated and dislike a game in which that is penalized.
Pcars won't be a pick-up and play type of game I guess.
This may overwhelm casuals?
