GT7 - Graphics simmilar to GT6 photomode?

And if GT6 is more or less "completed" but not many care because they've moved on to DriveClub or P CARS or Assetto Corsa or whatever, who is going to be happy with this if it delays GT7?

All I see in this debate is a lot of people being mad for the sake of it.

Complete GT6 is simple, once it includes everything advertised and promoted before release.

It's hardly delaying GT7, it's nobody's fault but PD that they're not done with GT6 yet. Once they are, they can fully focus on GT7. That should be how a good business operates.

I used to love the GT series, and I used to like PD/Kaz. But with all their broken promises, especially recently it's been an awful lot, I think we have reason to be angry on them. How can we put any trust into a single promotion for GT7?

As Simon says, GT6 needs to be finished first. I'd understand if they think it's not worth it because people want to move on to the next generation but that's their problem after giving so many promises (and many of the 'promises' like community features should be natural key features and have been in GT5).

I know some of you guys hate to read this, but a big hunk of the fanbase really is ready to leave the cramped sinking PS3 ship, and head on out to the stars in the spanky new PS4 starcruiser. And I'm one of them.

Yes but Captain Kaz is at the helm, so forget shiny starcruisers. The worst development team outside of team Ico for me.

While I don't think PD is good at keeping promises, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't put GT6 photomode (or at the very least GT5 photomode) graphics in GT7 for the PS4 - the reason why GT6 wasn't much of a jump graphically was because of hardware issues that won't be an issue on the PS4, for obvious reasons.

I didn't expect much from GT6 and was STILL disappointed. It's getting to the point where you'll go on GTP to look at reviews for GT9 and the 'Good things about GT9' thread will be full of stuff like 'Manual burns very efficiently' 'Box does not contain a deadly neurotoxin'

Theres more threads about what people hate about GT games with the pwast few years than the minority of good threads on GTP. The only reason I usually come to GTP is to see the news because I dont want to be all the threads of what people want from GT which wont happen and the threads of complaining.

👍 I think we're already at that point. I posted up the GT6 epic praising thread a while ago, & I'm really struggling to think of anything else to post in there.

I can't remember if I posted there or not but I think one of my points was (or would have been) 'It's still similar to GT5 which was a fairly decent game in retrospect'. Nothing really stands out in GT6 other than some fixes for GT5.
But anyway, let's stop, let's not turn this into another GT6 whining and crying thread.

PD may see it as GT7 will include them and only then the features are possible, so in future updates is actually a new game.

No their not. Everyone has every right to be angry towards PD. We were promised features like the Course Maker and Community features for GT6, yet, those features are yet to be seen. Even "monthly" DLC was promised for GT6 (yeah we got some free DLC but monthly meaning every month). There's no word about the VGT cars either, as if that plan just flew out the window already.

PD has made so many promises they haven't even fulfilled, and Kaz expects us to blindly believe a single word he saids? Yeah, no. That's like beliving a pig can fly (man that has been played out a lot).

If PD can't communicate, than they should at the very least, read the fourms (which I highly doubt they do anyway.) I can't wait for E3 just to hear all those vague promises Kaz will make for GT7, and than end it with his famous vague laugh. Don't think he'll won't though. And no, GT7 is not getting delayed, but it sure as hell delaying on GT6's promises.
