I think my dream if a modernized LeMans is gone😞. Maybe we get a new race featuring the new cars that has a decent payout
Polyphony won’t do half a job. So much has changed at La Sarthe with the remodelled karting curve, new buildings and bridge at the Porsche Experience centre - this year the Dunlop Bridge is now the Goodyear Bridge.

LMU has just got a complete 2026 update of the circuit.

more sophy or any other „big“ changes.
More Sophy is definitely what i'm waiting for in the updates..

I cant race with the regular AI anymore after playing with Sophy.
And since I always do recreations of multi-class races (IMSA, WEC, Super GT,..) Sophy CAN navigate through the traffic, unlike the regular AI, who the fastest cars get stuck behind slower cars, and it ruins a lot of the immersion..

I hope we can get more Sophy compatible tracks like Daytona, The Glen (IMSA) and Fuji, Autopolis (Super GT).. These are already tracks in which events are being used in the Power Pack DLC.. Which means, we should be able to use them for customs too.
Also I want Sophy to be able to drive the more recently added GT3s like the 296 and the 911 (992)

Sophy being able to drive immediately the new Hypercars will be the "Crème de la crème" for me, but i'm just dreaming at this point 😂

It would be good if they have been trying Sophy on the new cars while they were developing them and getting them ready for the game
The funny thing is that I have a "bugged" save that makes Sophy drive the same car as me when I launch the race with 😂
For example : I can make Sophy drive the swapped Twingo or the 911 Leichtbau added in the previous update.. (Doesn't work with the Yangwang tho)

That means if Sophy can't drive the 499P when it comes out (which is what most likely going to happen) I can still use that save and make Sophy drive a 499P, 9X8, 963, M Hybrid V8... Unless they patch my save 🤷‍♂️

Oh no, we are only given the trash tier ones.... :indiff:

Can't say I'm looking forward to the new cars tbh.

The ridiculously fast GR2 & better cars always seem to suck on controller, as far as actually being competitive with them.

Would rather see more silly/fun vehicles with silly engine swaps, or more of the newer GT3/4

Did a quick WEC race while I’m waiting. PMR don’t have the Ferrari, but do have the Alpine, Aston Martin, even Weathertech series Acura, Cadillac and Lamborghini.

My first time driving one in that game. Pretty good. Should do well in GT7. Probably similar to the GR010 physics. I’m not expecting anything spectacular. Just want to do some races with these cars and watch the replays. Definitely setting up some spectating locations.

As a controller player too, in the most old scool way possible using square and cross, I can only agree. However, the problem stems primarily from an excessive downforce on these cars.

Lower it and you should be okay, LMP cars will behave more as they should and be far more enjoyable with a controller. Be careful not to lower the rear downforce too much, or you risk a violent loss of rear grip at Indianapolis. You can compensate for the downforce loss on the front by softening the entire rear suspension. As long as we don't have the Mercedes CLR in the game, this tip should stay fine... lol

While I have given up hope of a reworked LeMans is pretty cool we are getting the update during LeMans week. It would be really cool if the did the weekly challenge around LeMans. Not sure how they would do it but I would love to see it. I would what new engine swaps we will see? I hope there are no more 10 million dollar swaps

A reworked lemans would be nicee
I would love to see that. There is a part of me that can't let the idea go that we will get that reworked version, the reason being the trailer for the WEC cars showed Monza, Spa, Interlagos, and Fuji but not Circuit de la Sarthe. If there is any circuit you would immediately associate those cars with it's La Sarthe.

Why did they not show it..?

No joke, the closer we‘re getting to the update the more hyped I get. I haven‘t been looking forward this much to a Gran Turismo update in a long time - it‘s just amazing that we‘re finally getting four WEC Hypercars at once and just in time for Le Mans.

I have the rest of the week off starting on Wednesday so expect a lot of replica liveries from this year!

No offense, but this sentiment is definitely a you thing. The most fun custom races that I have are with the faster cars. The few times there's a GR2 or GR1 Sport Mode race, I hold my own. But, to be fair, I've left Sport Mode for a few months now in favour of custom races with these cars that you say "suck"

Go build an old F1 grid. I find 1995 to be the best one. VERY fun, and no Sophy required, so you have access to all the tracks.

I'm off from Wednesday too. I love Le Mans week and always take it off for all the track action.

My only source of income today is gold on time trials. Things are expensive for me. A 20M car is golding 10 TTs
