I’ve done the trial, spent far too many time to just about squeeze into the silvers lol! I can the livery can be purchased but I’m sure I’ve read that it’s a free option for anyone that completes the trial.
It’s still running? Once it’s finished it’ll come 👍 if it’s finished check the rental version and you should be able to choose from there, like the gran turismo movie GTR

Yeah it’s still running. Will check back once it’s finished. Thanks

Sorry to butt in on your ‘Aliens’ chat, but here’s finally a TT for us mere mortals...😏😂

After 10-minute TTs, sausage TTs, chicane TTs – all with crazy cars – finally a TT where we can hope to win a gold medal...

Luckily I had the 2-chilli quest to keep me busy in the meantime...😂😂😂

This one feels very weird with a wheel! So easy to swing the rear end out. Needs more practice or even a change of settings to see if I can improve control

Been trying to get gold in the kart and noticed the WR lap used ASM so I experimented with the same assists and all seemed ok until I also tried some TCS. At that point ASM wouldn't work (on in assists menu but the ASM light in game wasn't on). Exited TT and re-entered, still not working, quit and restarted game, still not working, restarted console but still not working!

Is this a known bug?

Can't say I've ever heard of that...in single player races, I usually have TC on 2 and ASM on just so I don't waste my time doing dumb things to myself.

First run at Deep Forest. After the kart event and the 911 at Laguna Seca, this took a little bit of mind recalibration but a really nice event. Was a little confused by the tire choice at first, but it’s very satisfying to balance this car on the throttle (on the occasions when I get it right 😆). This is after 15 laps, so a good start.

Oh dear, I went from karting to the 86, but it felt like I was driving on the rims, it was so slippery. Too bad, I really like the 86.

Put in some effort into the Laguna Seca in the end - this took a while but pulled a lap good enough to hold Gold. ~10k leaderboard is a bit of a reality check after the recent highs in the Mangusta and the kart, but the 2 million is there so I'm okay to move on.

Anything better would require investing time into the game of "hunt the kerb" and nah, still not particularly interested in pursuing that.

I decided that after an afternoon/evening spent mowing the lawn (in the 85 degree temps and sunshine) followed by a beer club meeting at our closest brewery, I did not want to play "Will the Porsche actually turn?", so I went back to Eiger in the Shifter Kart, found ~half a second, and got myself down into the 1:08s, with a 1:08.988 with an optimum of 0.724 (and potential to get down a touch further...we'll see about that on Wednesday night). Whoop!

Must be suffering from controlleritis as I can't make this thing turn anywhere near as much or as fast as #1.

Losing pretty much all of the time through the hairpins, rest of the lap I can mostly keep up. T1 is ok, but 2-4 is catastrophic, can't change direction quickly enough for 2, can't hug the inside anywhere near enough for 3 and then can't get the turn in right for 4, nor can I get the exit down without understeering into the grass, or touching the grass and doing a 180.

T5 is a knife-edge whether it will spin or not. Once it starts sliding the chances of catching it are slim, somehow #1 is going flat out super early but I assume that's thanks to having all of the aids going overtime.

Figured I may as well stop on a nice round number, and switch focus to the 911 at Laguna Seca.
