The first time there's been a double GTA$ weekend in over a year and my PS3 refuses to connect for 3 days in a row. :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
 
The banner announcement about the rebate is gone from my Social Club page, but I haven't received my money... :confused:

It's been gone since the 15th I believe (at least it was for me). I still haven't received my rebate yet either, but I'll just wait until the 19th like it said. I also did everything correct.

If the 20th rolls around and I'm shorted my 550k, I'll be raising hell on the Rockstar Support website.

The only reason I went from the Osiris to the T20 was I was promised a nice chunk of change back.

I would do the same, but I honestly don't think I will because from what I've heard about many people not receiving responses or if any they're just automated :indiff: Although I'm sure it would be a huge problem if a ton of other people had the same issue so maybe R* would actually do something about it.

It popped up when I was loading in, I think the Enduro, the Velum 5 Seater and the Prison Bus are the other 3 that are half off today

EDIT: Regular Kuruma is also half off (Got it because I figured it was worth 40K)

I was thinking about maybe selling my Entity for something a little less common.

I already have the T20 for racing, so any other super is for cruising.

Eh. Those other vehicles really don't seem all too useful, but at least R* is discounting them.

Bagged the armoured Kuruma for half price and also found the Minivan sport - with spoiler.

Found a gang Buccaneer, drove to my garage which was full. It asked which car I wanted to replace so I backed out and lost the gang car, I'm friggin p'd off

To be fair, it does warn you that you lose the car if you don't replace anything.

Yeah, I just bought the kuruma which was the 10th car in my apt, although I have empty garage spots elsewhere I thought I would lose one rather than it moving to another apartment.

Absolutely, being virtually immune from explosives in Free Roam is very nice, and having that be just a call to the mechanic away is totally worth 600K

Disconnect and reconnect your internet through the modem and PS3. Or uninstall the game and reinstall it and press L1+R1 when online boots up.

I've done the whole routine hundreds of times already - it's not a game issue, it's an issue with the router not assigning IP addresses properly regardless of how many times it gets restarted. It generally manifests itself on consoles and handheld devices - I've consistently had issues with my PS3, 3DS and phone for a couple of years now, but never really any issues with PCs or laptops - and it can last for days at a time before everything suddenly starts working again (and no, I have no idea why everything starts working again without further input). I've tried setting up a static IP for the PS3 but I haven't been able to get the DNS settings right yet.

Some times my ISP have issues with some router DNS servers, and I find Googles public DNS to work quite well when my ISPs DNS fails. I don't know if it works for your issue specifically, but it's worth a shot I'd say. :D:tup:
 
I've got "Participate in a Deathmatch" as a daily objective, which seems like a transparent enough task, but after accepting one of the thousands of deathmatch auto-invites I get, and participating in what may well have been my worst experience ever while playing a video game, I failed to get credit. What exactly is expected of me?

Was it a Team Deathmatch, IIRC "Participate in a Deathmatch" means it has to be FFA

Ah, I had no idea. There was no designation as a Team Deathmatch (as I've seen) in the invite, is there a way to tell without waiting for the whole thing to load? Any tips for starting an FFA (free-for-all, I assume) Deathmatch? I'd hate for this to be my first set of objectives I've started but not completed--I already caught a movie and performed a stunt jump.

Host it yourself, Auto invite, as soon as someone joins start it (Set the time and score limit as low as possible), then either the other person will quit out or you'll do a 5 minute deathmatch
