GTA: SA - Have you reserved your copy?

wal-mart has issues with M-rated games. They didn't even stock Vice City for a while...

BTW guys... hold ALT when pressing Print Screen and you will get a capture of just the window that you are using rather than your entire screen.

Ah my Paranoia has been lifted. Went into my gamestore today and spoke to the guy. He says there getting enough copys to match there pre-orders( which he said were the highest they've ever had for any game incl Doom3).
He also said everythings set for the 29th release here!.

You are correct.

Although I don't know that much about your country, the US government loves to blame GTA when ever a major teenage crime is committed which really ticks me off. 👎
 
Yeah but most of the stuff in that movie is BS anyway :rolleyes:

Though the cartoons in it are really funny :lol:
 
I finally went down and reserved my copy--first time I ever did that. It better be there bright and early on Tuesday.
 
I still haven't pre-ordered. Hopefully I can shoot by my local EB Games or Target as soon as they open(more likely Target) and get it before I go to school. Otherwise I'll have to go to another store after school. Or I could skip school...... :trouble:

Vice City is the only game I pre-ordered, and it's the only game I've ever had to wait a week after the release date to get. It's not necessarily worth it if the game distributors miscalculate the demand and all the shops in the country run short before the release day is over and you have to wait a week for another delivery.

It's happened before, it can happen again. Ordering a game is not a guarantee you'll have your game on the release date.

I'm going to K-Mart over here late on the 25th and at opening time (7:00 AM) on the 26th. Hopefully I'll get it and everyone else in the area will go to the video game stores while I hit up K-Mart! :D
 
I pre ordered at EB games which doesn't open til 10. I'll probably cruise by Walmart/K-mart/Target/Bestbuy/Circuit City before then and see if I can get it earlier-- then just get a refund from EB if I do.

This just me, but I think SA will be much more funner than Halo 2. Halo 2 looks exactly like the old one. The story line hasn't seemed to change from the looks. Same thing I see. Run around different levels killing Covenant.

I hope there's more plots in the story. The one in Halo was a very small twist. 👎

And to me, I think it'll be boring after you beat it. At least when you beat SA, you'll be able to keep going. 👍
 
Off Topic:

San Andreas WILL be better than Halo 2. I didn't like the single-player on Halo very much, but it is one of my favorite multiplayer games. I'd still play Vice City over Halo though! ;)
 
I just pre-ordered SA from EB. they'll call me when it arrives. I was thinking to get 1 day shipping for $10, but Why do that if I can't play it tuesday night? The shipping is free if I go pick it up at the store.

The window was maximized. That would make no difference...

Oh and to KM when i went into0 my gamestore the other day they said they had to double up there order so they could Guarantee evryone who pre- ordered a copy so im pretty sure ill be sorted bring on next friday!.

Why all this talk about other games and being bored with San Andreas? By the time I get bored with San Andreas, there will be a Halo 12. :lol:
 
Haha, good one, though by that time the PS3 will almost be reeased. I just realised this game will have to entertain us untill at least 2007, lol.
 
Oh it will. Trust me. It will.

Vice City entertained us until a few weeks ago. I think this can do at least a year on Vice City. Probably more.
 
I know it will, but then even if it doesn't (which it will) I'll have gt4 to play with.
