You aint the only one, here's the funny thing though, i ordered 3 things on friday,

And guess what arrived, the headset and a t shirt, THE ****ING T SHIRT WAS ON FREE DELIVERY!

I'm tempted to go to Asda to get a copy. Last time I order from Amazon.

Controls are spoiling it for me, doesn't feel natural at all like IV did. Shame as I was in a que for over 2 hours last night and spent £60 on the special edition. I very much dislike not being able to customize controls in games. :(

I think performance and graphical issues are inherent to the 360 version, thus far I'm 16-18 ish on PS3 and I haven't experienced Frame drops like in IV, lack of AA is a bitch but the thing pushes what it can be done by current gen consoles, and textures and the whole game seem to run better on the PS3.

I say is an inherent problem with the 360 version because a friend got the game today, boot it up without second disc, the frames did drop a bit more in 360 then he installed the second disc and the textures pop up was abundant while the frames managed to drop further.

Is not totally perfect, is pretty damn near it, all things considered though I'm having a really smooth experience, no loading times, cinematic flow accordingly without breaking pace, frame rate is good no matter the situation and graphics are good enough to actually enjoy going for a drive outskirts LS.

I pre ordered from GAME couple months ago and got nothing in post today! Sitting in work looking forward to this all day then nothing.

I got it on my way home. And then in desperation to play ASAP I managed to package and ship an eBay item in about 20 minutes total, with an 8 minute drive each way. Just now got the install complete message. Oh boy here we go. :D

Just played it for a good hour, man that opening scene was great, really liked that.

Am I the only one who sometimes does this?

It's nice to cruise around and most importantly, calm yourself down after a long, intense mission.

I'm waiting for my mom to come home. Hopefully she was able to pick up my game before she went to work.

Yes, that's the percentage in the quick save menu... I'm quite surprised myself, to be honest.

I'm at 5.3% after 4 hours, but I've mostly been doing side activities and messing with the boys in blue.

Didn't get it yesterday, didn't get it today. Told the retailer to give me my money back. I paid nearly 90$ for the standard edition at that place. Screw them, I'm getting the game from elsewhere and at a less mental pricetag.

The driving physics remind me of GT5 AMD NFS: MW 2012 combined. It's very good and it doesn't really feel unrealistic. 👍

I hope I can prolong the play time of this game like Fallout 3 did - it took me more than 200 hours to finish the game  Doing everything, slowly enjoying my time.

Ive noticed that roaming cops is extremely rare to see as ive yet to see one. Its only when you actually start fighting and shooting do they actually show up. I also love it when your hiding from them in an alley and you see one drive by only to turn into the alley your in and you have to book it again. Game of the year every year 👍

I've been mostly focused at the story mode, and I haven't really begun exploring the map yet. I suppose that's the reason I'm so far, already. :D

The shooting is exactly the same as in RDR.
L2 auto aim, pull up for a headshot with R3, R2 shoot. Red cross on impact means he's dead. :trouble:

Loving the game so far, but having some FPS issues. Its running at about 15 to 20 on my TV. There are also a lot of jaggy edges, any idea on how to solve it? Running at 60 HZ 720p I believe.

I don't think there's ever been one in GTA....
Yeah, but I could have sworn a screenshot on the GTA website showed a speedometer. Of course now I can't find it. It was probably fan made lol. I was hoping to see how fast I could drive off this or that jump etc...
Anyway. I'm done playing for now, I have to get to work, ah I miss being a kid sometimes lol. But from the couple hours so far I'm pretty excited to get back to it. Mostly done missions, and drove around the city, but I did take a trip up to Mt. Chiliad where I lost my car. It is REALLY hard to carjack someone in the country!! Nobody stops no matter how much you block the road and jumping in front of cars doesn't really workout to your advantage like in previous GTAs... I don't have hardly any money yet, but so far the car customization is tasty.
