GTA V - General Thread

I hope online holds up long enough for me to get on. I'm really worried about server crashes, getting booted, you know the usual.
 
Oh god just bought a 10 million dollar car, put about 100k worth of upgrades into it not to mention like half and hour of choosing perfect paint. Decided to to buy a new jet ski to celebrate my recent harbor front purchase. Drove my new car down to the docks to see the jet ski. I walk back up to the parking lot and car is gone. I went to my garage to see if it was there since that's where it shipped too, but no. I wasn't too worried as I would just turn off the game and restart, but I step on some rare item and I really hope it didn't save. I am gonna be so pissed if it did.
 
So GTA Online will be up in 30 mins?

At the police station, there is a white car on the map go there and there would be 2 garages, stand next to the green lights and some text will pop up.

Omg you guys are amazing. It is there!!! If I didn't come back to this thread I would of bought another. I was practically sweating driving there. So relieved.
 
Just a funny update. Being excited I got the car back I celebrated by buying the "veyron" which cost a million dollars. Painted it up real nice etc and took it for a high speed run. It's supposed to be the fastest but I didn't find it that much faster than a normal exotic car. That was until I hit another car and flew like 50ft out the window and died lol. Luckily this time I knew of the impound and it was there. I assume the last car you died in or left always ends up there?
 
Interesting thought just occurred to me. I remember before the game came out that it said you decide on who gets paid what etc and I remember thinking that I could just kill off my team after (offline, and obviously not Trevor/Michael/franklin) but could I take out the shooter once we're at the cars about the make a getaway etc?

They said GTA Online will be up around 7 am ET, so that's around 12pm for us I think.

Sometimes cars end up there, sometimes they don't. I don't know what the deciding factors are but I'd sure like to find out.

in the burning-building ("the fire truck-") heist.

The top speed is 250 MPH, although it is very understated. I don't feel a huge sense of speed when driving that fast, like with GT5. Although, when I have been driving other cars like the 9F through the city to Franklin's secondary garage after customizing them, I am flying through the city at top speed. When you activate the special ability to get around cars and then deactivate it, everything really speeds up and then you really feel like you're going fast.

Aargh GTA online came too soon! I wanted to complete my offline first.
Nevertheless you'll be able to find me online every other day.
Also good to see my effort in the crew emblem will 'pay off' with us driving with it and wearing it. :)
 
I just fired game up with my uk account and downloaded 32 mb update.
Now I can play in Finland online :)
 
I've been trying to find the download part for 15 min now. PSN and the in game menu... I'm scared

I will be even worse in a few hours when the Europeans get home from work, and the Americans are still up late.
I think single player for me for tonight. I don't fancy wasting my time trying to connect to games.

I don't think the update is online for the US, only UK until now

I've updated. Done my character and everytime I try and go online I get connection error message and it kicks me back to single player.
