*Flies into LSIA as Trevor without taking any damage*
*Steals jumbo jet without cops noticing* (Wat?)
*Flies back to Trevor's airfield*
*Safely lands jet*
*Jet's left wing hits some crap on the side of the runway*
*Jet blows up and I die*

I love this game, but I hate this game too.

If you buy a hangar as Michael or Franklin you don't get a 3 star wanted rating if you enter the airfield, and you can just steal jumbo jets without getting a wanted level. You don't even need to buy the hangar as Trevor since apparently the police think that an unstable military-trained sociopath of a meth dealer is less threatening to national security than a slightly overweight man who could quite easily be the main character of a family sitcom and some bloke who used to work for a car dealership for a month.

I have purchased the hangars for Michael and Franklin. Apparently, you can't purchase one at LSIA for Trevor. His hangar(s) is in the desert.

That is correct, and you should get a wanted level if you go in there as Trevor. Not sure why you didn't.

Oh, no, I did get a 3-star wanted level. I flew into the airport from the southeast with a Frogger, heard a warning over the radio, 5 seconds later as I was flying by the southernmost hangars, 3 stars. I landed near one jet by the terminal and hopped in. Strangely, after the first few seconds of having a wanted level, I never appeared in the cops' field of view. As I was backing up in the jet and turning north, my 3 stars disappeared as cops were closing in! At most, they were 100 feet from me, well within their search radius. Oh well. Kinda cool that I did get away.

It is annoying how easy it is to die in this GTA. Last night Trevor tripped and fell, hit his head and died. A serious wtf moment needless to say! Then while in a mission as Franklin I drove through one of those Blain County cops and robbers shoot-outs and got hit by a stray bullet and died, forcing me to do the mission over again.

Sudden thought while laying in bed:

Where is your Rhino tank stored in singleplayer when you buy it? It's clearly too big to fit in any garage, right? Does it get stored at the hangar(s) you purchase? I've never actually bought a Rhino yet, so I was wondering. I am aware that you can call up Elitas in multiplayer when you buy a large vehicle for them to put it at a nearby location.

If you buy it as Trevor, it's store at his airfield. As Franklin and Michael, it's stored at LSIA.

Has anyone thought about starting a GTA V weapon discussion thread? I mean, we have one for cars. Why not one for the second most important aspect of the game? We can discuss the best and most useful weapons for each class, situational weapons like shotguns, and which customizations are really worth it when you're low on cash.

Lets get some ideas going, guys.

Sure, I love the idea. For example I find the assault shotgun to be an amazing bang for your buck weapon. You can be very devastating with it for less than $2,000 total.

That's the automatic shotgun, right? I love that one. I haven't purchased it online yet, but it will wreak havoc on your enemies in close range.

When I go around robbing convenience stores, I always use the regular shotgun because in close range, you can easily take out the clerk if they attack. Also, its either a one or two shot kill since they don't have body armor.

Haha, I usually use the sawed-off in those situations simply for the appeal lol. I actually find the automatic assault shotgun to have a decent medium range effectiveness, even against armor. Not to mention its deliciously addictive rate of fire :mischievous:.

I should use that too. :/

Oh how I love the fire rate.
I should probably take the suppressor off in single player. I have a really bad habit of buying every upgrade for a weapon, regardless if it reduces accuracy like the suppressor.

Such a ripoff from a AA-12
Which is another reason I love it!
I should use that too. :/

I'm guilty of the same. I've taken the suppressors off all my firearms because how much damaged and accuracy can be reduced. Well, sometimes I use it with the heavy sniper rifle because that thing's a beast regardless.

Anybody have any tips for playing the game in general? I'm really struggling to figure out what I need to do next in the game.

What issues are you having? Is it a problem with missions, multiplayer, or something else?

You can always check your stats and see what you're missing, Kamuifanboy. Access them via [start] -> stats (-> 100% check list). :)

It's not necessarily an issue. I'm just always having to walk to different places because I usually lose my car. And that makes me lose focus on the story mode and do other things.

If you like using cheat codes, there's a bunch you can use. Helpful when you're stuck in the desert without any cars around. If you're close to civilization, you can just steal a car and travel to the next mission.

Permanently lose your car, out of your garage? If that's the case R* made a patch to fix it. Also, instead of walking, pull up the cellphone, go to contacts, and call the Downtown Taxi Company. They will send a car to you if you can't find a nearby car to take.

But they will charge you for using the taxi. Although, you could just jack the taxi.

I don't recommend jacking the taxi. If you're anything like me you'll do taxi jobs for the rest of the night and not get anything accomplished lol.

 I do like those missions too. There's something nice about being paid to just drive around, even if you have several million dollars left.
