GTA V - General Thread

I listen to pretty much nothing but Channel X, WCC and occasionally The Lowdown.

If I get tired of that, I could just pop this into Youtube.

I've recently downloaded the whole of FlyLo FM.

I love driving around with it on, sounds incredible played loud through a chunky sub-woofer in a residential area. And, it is the best radio station in the whole everywhere.

Soulwax got a severe rinsing when the game first came out, love the tracks by Palbomen and Supersempfft.

When I'm doing missions with randoms, I like to drive / fly and put Rebel Radio on. Normally gets a quick change if someone is in the front seat .

I love the station, but when I tried listening to some of the songs on YouTube while wearing my headphones, some of them I just couldn't stand because they have way too much bass. "Getting There" is a great song, but it has too much bass for me to enjoy it.

Not exactly a new thing. Kinda expected for most next-gen ports.

Actually, you know what might happen? Maybe last-gen owners will get exclusive GTA content on the next-gen games, like 'Buy the Canis Killdozer 6000 on Legendary Motorsports with a transferred character' or something.

Nothing new, it was rumored that the next - gen and PC ports will probably even get a bigger world, although I don't think that's going to be the case. Maybe we'll get like a few new cars (they've released for the GTA MP for example) and the guns they've released with the patches as well.

There is something bizarrely fun about causing mayhem as Trevor while listening to "Only Girl In The World" and "Gimme More". I also like flying to "Rhythm of the Night".

My favourites are spread across several channels. "Sleepwalking", "Feel the Same", "Dark Matter" and "The Set-Up" are all good, even though I can't stand DJ George. Also a big fan of "I Don't Care Anymore", "Rain" and "I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You", and the talkback radio channels.

Really, the only songs I don't like are "Psychic City" (it just gets stuck in my head) and "Glamorous" (or, as I like to call it "Listen To Me Describe How Awesome I Am").

Bah, getting frustrated with the Knife Flights again. I've flown under all fifty bridges, and now I've completed thirteen of the fifteen Knife Flights, mostly by luck. But there is nothing in the game to indicate where they are, and no way of keeping track of which ones you have finished. So most of my time is spent randomly flying around trying to guess where I should be, and crashing sooner rather than later.

The knife flights is pretty much what is keeping me from getting a 100% game save. Even though I know where they are, the process of crashing, then getting another plane, then failing 5 times, and then crashing again is just way too old.

I wish it wasn't required to do for the people who want a 100% save - I just don't have the patience for it.

You only need to do like half the knife flights for the save to show 100%. Unless you mean 100% as in doing everything.

I think I would be happy with either, though it would be more satisfying to have a true, thick 100% - Possibly every trophy eventually. I've never gotten a platinum trophy before, and I thing GTA V would be a nice place to start.

Not tried with headphones, JBL sub in the trunk makes me and the old Golf shake though .

Well sure, but would going through the menus and sitting through a loading screen be faster than driving to the airport, grabbing my plane, and trying again? I just thought it would be the same, but I could be wrong.

I'm kind of fussy about my offline characters dying or being arrested so I always reload if one of those things happen.

I don't have a problem with my offline characters dying. I don't believe I've ever been "busted" on this game save, however. If I do, I'm reloading - unless of course a quick save slid in or something, but I doubt it.

That's true, i think the cops just kill you now whether you have 1 or 5 stars.

My fussy ways started when GTA III came out, maybe I should seek professional help .

Cops always kill you offline no matter what, but offline cops don't even shoot if you only have one star and will just bust you if you don't attempt an escape. Never been busted at 2 stars because then they start shooting, but apparently it's possible.
