I don't think I'll bother with it.

Trevor and Franklin have 30 Million+ each and Michael takes in 500,000 a week anyway.

Same here, I have Michael at 70 million, the other two are around 30 million. More than enough cash. No need to save up to buy the golf club then have to wait weeks to have decent cash again.

Wow.. I just started the game pretty much, and michael is only at 1 million

I've yet to collect my stock-shares, but even then I'll only be at $28M (at the moment). It'll surely take me some time to get to $150M, if I decide to do so.

If you guys were trying to save up $150 million it would take years. Best way to earn in GTA V, other than the main story missions, is the stock market. Most reckon the HAL stocks will return to $50. I bought $80 million ( Michael and Franklin) worth when they were $1 and I had finished the story. They are now worth $16.58 each, so I have basically got 16.58*40,000,000 for Michael and Franklin.

You can blow up airplanes of a rival airline company. Example: FlyUS and AirEmu are rivals. Invest in one, destroy the other company's property.

If you google the Hawk and Little stocks though, many think it was a glitch that the price of them went so low. Its a gun company that is affected by online play (which only went up of the 1st Oct.) so now everyone is online buying guns it will skyrocket.
True, its not a sure thing but if you read up on it. You could always save your game in another slot so that if you lose your money it's a simple load game.

Lol I tried the online a little today. It's hard to gain lots money in it so I figured robberies would be a good idea. I basically hit up every store lol. Usually you get one star but since I did so many I guess I became known to the cops. I would get three stars right away and helicopters etc looking for me. I have a bright orange car so it's easy to spot. I never got caught so far and made almost 5k.

Does having a brightly colored car affect the visibility of the police? What about lighting conditions? IE: Does an orange car at night have the same visibility to AIs as a black car at night? Can they see it better or not?

My characters are sitting at roughly 250 million each, with two assassination missions left. It really is worth saving those until the end

How did you possibly get that much with each character? The only guy who can come close for me is Micheal and that's only because he makes so much per week.

He probably took Lester's various stock advice when you do his assassination missions. Of course you have to save them after you finish the final heist.
