He most likely has no money to pay the fare, which is why that usually happens.

Yea, I realized that after I posted it.

In other news,

I GOT THE JET! :D You don't need invincibility(or the quick save thing either) , and I have some tips for you guys struggling with it.

-Don't bother trying to go in as anyone who isn't Trevor; his Rage ability makes the on-foot portion much easier.
-Don't try to go in though the north entrance (the one way off the ring-road)
-Don't bother with the jets on the run-way
-Do go for the hangar
-Do use a (pretty) quick and nimble car (I used a jaguar look-alike for the jet, and a Ducati for the heist prep part)
-Do go through the south entrance (easier access to, well everything)
-Instead of stopping the car and getting out, dive out as you run next to the hangar and hit T's special ability in mid-air(it pretty much nullifies the damage from the face plant)
-Fly really low to keep the missiles at bay.

I still can't get online to work. This is really annoying.

Is your Internet good? Also it was out a bit yesterday. For me it's hit or miss. Sometimes it gets on and works fine and other times it can't connect.

My online works pretty good. I'm up to level 23. I have an $128,000 apartment with a 6 car garage online, working my way to the $200k and up range.

Here's a tip. Do races with friends and/or crew. The missions from level 20 and up pay decent too..

Edit: I just spoke too soon.. I just lost all my online stats.. guess I'll look at my screenshot of my level 23 guy.. :(

Well yeah, I have no problem playing it online on my bro's 360...

I lost all of my weapons for Michael after playing online. I didn't just lose the ammo, but I lost the guns entirely. Anyone else having this problem? Unfortunately I saved the game before I realized they were gone.

I had that problem before. I'd open the wheel and it would be just the hand/fist.

Damn game keeps changing my license plates. I put black plates on all my cars, and the plate on my Mini keeps changing back to white.

I noticed that when I updated to v1.02 of the game.

Sucks for you guys I been having good luck with cars. I spent literally all my money with Micheal and was robbing people to make some cash. I wanted to upgrade this one car I had sooner than later. All the sudden I see a Veyron just parked on the side of the road. It was black and orange which was the same colors as the one I made for Trevor. I didn't even know you could find these cars randomly in the game. I parked it and went back to robbing. Cops were on me and I drove into a parking garage to find a really nice looking Aston Martin 4 door. I twas crazy fast and just looked extra nice. Than I realized it was fully upgraded and the exact one I made for Franklin. I haven't checked if he still has his parked but it was kinda weird to just find the exact one.

Strange. I was playing as Franklin, trying to get the Veyron to show up. I was trying different cars and picked up a silver Sentinel. When I drive past Michael's house, I get a text from him basically Amanda is mad that you have her car.

Hold on a second... I picked up a random Sentinel from the street and the game thinks I stole Amanda's car? By the way, if I tried to enter Michael's property as Franklin, Amanda's car doesn't show up, so I can't take her car AT ALL.

Anyone else have this weird glitch?

Does it have a customized license plate?

Does it have a customized license plate?

Pretty sure it didn't. Also, Amanda's car is red and has not been modified in any way at all. This car I stole was silver (primary color) with pale blue (secondary color).

The Veyron I stole that I found that was the same color as Trevors but was not upgraded at all. I painted his matte black with orange stripes with matching orange rims. This was gloss black and orange with stock everything else. Got no calls or text about it and the Aston didn't hear anything about it but that for sure had to be Franklins since it even had the armor proofing maxed.

I think this is a first..
While playing as Michael, I went to the barbershop to get a haircut.
It was being robbed, and I was held at gunpoint.

I don't understand why you lose your armour for any type of death. It should only be depleted by being shot.

Agreed. If they don't take away your weapons and ammunition, they shouldn't take your armor that you likely spent $2,500 for.

For the first time in a GTA game I never really felt the need for armor. Not in a mission, anyway. I guess the better cover system helps a lot with that, back in the older games cover was non-existent so the missions towards the end really needed armor.

I feel the say way.
Armor would've saved me a few times, but mainly because I was being stupid. (The many times I've accidentally got out of cover, the many times I've stormed into a large crowd, then have to reload...etc.)

Does the armor actually cover your entire body (IE: Head, torso, arms & legs) or just your torso?

Anyone else notice that when it's stormy, 99% of the cars are blacks and browns. And when it's sunny you have a lot of orange, yellow, green and red cars? Perhaps it's that I'm taking art appreciation, but, Rockstar has some really brilliant art direction.

So yesterday I was doing some more 100% work in story mode as I suddenly noticed, playing with Franklin, I lost all my weapons. Opening my weaponwheel and only saw a pistol with only one clip of ammo and the fist.
I haven't checked M or T but I have a strong feeling it'llbe the same.
As I still have the Epsilon program to do, I'll be forced to go and buy some new ones. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. :irked:

Ouch. I know it won't help all that much, but if you do the target practice at the shooting ranges, you'll get a discount at all Ammunations - assuming you haven't already for 100%... er, if that isn't a requirement. I'm not too sure :p

I'm pretty sure it does count towards the 100%, as completing it is on the "Hobbies" checklist.

It does, but you only need medals in all of the challenges which gets you a 15% discount. Gold them all (easy with Michael's skill) and you get 25% off.

Edit: to make it even easier, upgrades you buy for weapons are still applied when you use them at the firing range, so extended magazines come in handy as do scopes and grips.

Yeah I have already and have a gold medal ineach category. I'm not so much concerned about the cost for new weapons. It's just that I had it all already.
