Had a ton of fun today. Really enjoyed running 3rd/4th with NC playing cat and mouse just about the whole race (had no idea we qualified so close to each other...wow). Not sure what happened with about 10 laps to go. I am pretty sure I missed my line a bit which I bet started the wreck. Just too bad, wanted to run another 10 laps like that and see how the finish was gonna go.
 
My head is still a bit shaky, you are so focused when you have to brake & turn each 2-3 sec lol

Good racing you all today, to bad there was some dc problems for some of the drivers :(

I hope todays race do count, we where 9 drivers who all completed the 52 laps Endurance :)

Good win Owens by the way, i could not close the gap at all. And when i did gain some time, it was mainly because of a small drafting on some of the other drivers.
 
Yeah, Kart Space is rough on me lol. It's a busy track.

Curious as to what top speed did you guys set your kart to?
 
Thanks for the results... I'll decide what to do within a day or two. I'm most likely going to count the race, but allow everyone to drop their worst finish from any race.

I set mine to 103 km/h or 64,3 mph :)

I just realised it was Junior as in the Jr Kart :dunce: my Jr is not broken in, like the 125 haha.

Great idea on having the ability to drop a race from points.

However I'm ok with running this one over. Obviously I'm ok with results staying too. LoL

My speed was set to 63 then clicked it till 64 showed and left it. Basically a short 64 mph.

We had an epic battle going on for most of the race! I also had no idea we were so evenly matched after qualifying... I took a look at the replay and it seems you ran a little wide exiting turn 1, making contact with the wall and I clipped you on my way through. I tried to avoid you but I had too much speed and couldn't get out of the way fast enough. The contact I made, spun you back the other way and you ended up at a 90 degree angle with the wall. I didn't realize I'd hit you as hard as I did until I went back and looked at it, as I thought you continued on right behind me until I realized you weren't there. Definitely a shame, the last few laps would have been very intense!
 
Haha. I'm embarrassed I didn't even get a finishing time, but I really was just about to cross the finish line. I just needed another couple of seconds. My kart will be broken in next time. Yes, that is a pretty crazy course. When I practiced it, I practiced the course in reverse. Whoops! It was a lot of fun for my first race though.

That sounds about right from my memory. I remember going through turn 1 thinking crap I missed the line I wanted. The rest happened so fast I didn't recall. If we were both a little more patient even in the beginning of the race I bet we could have worked together to push each other further out from Jammy. Although a 3 way battle would have been a blast too.

I thought we were doing pretty good until I saw Jammy creeping up in the rear view... I had no idea he was making time on us so quickly! :dunce:
 
Wow, Owens with another win, congrats bud(not that I'm suprised) Seems you are getting the hang of these karts. 👍

I kept looking back for Jam too. He definitely was creeping up on his. Made a nice run for sure...coming that far back he deserves the podium.

I really don't want to talk about the race. My top speed was still something like 80 mph, unchanged from ARM, but that was the least of my problems. The track is fairly enjoyable and perfect for these karts, I just missed out.

Sag, you should hop in a kart room next time you see me in one, some great racers out there in the public lobbies, you can learn a lot.

Thanks. I was really pushing to get you two. You both made some small mistake on first corner (lap 40+) and i stoled from you (3rd place) :bowdown:
