Yeah just trying to stay on track when someone pushing my rear off track, car just snap round in the end.
But to get it again on the last lap and get horned at took the 🤬 really.
I know where I wanted to stick his horn

Lol, I got sideswiped at Silverstone Pre-Q by Joe, but I don't think he could see me, plus he missed the corner because I missed the corner.

I got squeezed against the wall by the same red Volvo at the start of Motegi, and I got sideswiped at the first corner of Monaco by ElCondensator and squeezed into the last corner inside wall by him, but again I don't think he could see me.

I have no idea what was going on with the servers on that pre-Q race. All I know is that the three drivers that left the lobby and re-joined then couldn't be seen by anyone else that was already on the track. Everyone could see @CptMadBean before he left the lobby and after he returned he was invisible, except to the two that we also couldn't see. :banghead:

Now I'm pissed off... Two points though. If I could've seen you then:
1) I wouldn't have been leaning on you so hard out of the final corner because
2) I'd have kept the inside and made you go the long way round.

Right, my take on the above issues.

I think rolling starts will reduce the unevenness at the starts, it may not be as fun but a bit of extra space in the first few corners should promote cleaner racing as well and ensure that those who can race cleanly and quickly are able to do well.
Overall a good idea.

I not really think rolling starts a good idea, just down to gap from what first to last would be.

maybe invisible colour the best thing for the C4, it must of look a hell of a lot better

The C4 is not exactly a looker. I do appreciate why you chose it though, it drives great and I think that it'll serve you well. 👍

Lets hope so

What's the next track want to get some practice and sort a good setup for the Citroën and I would like to use it for the season

oooooooook

We could all see mad clearly, but after he rejoined, I certainly couldn't.
mikey, no one can ever se you. Trying to race when asked not to was a bit silly really

I've split people into D1/2. Cr choice isn't that bad now so I will put the 3 car limit on.
The VW not too sure about. I think it's fine really
Volvo, i know how great Ian is but was impressed how well he handed on to it.

Tyre wear. well. Bring back pit window for race 1 and normal consumption race 2. that should sort it all out

i believe the game has rolling start as a feature. i think that may even it all out despite how boring it is

Laguna is round 1 mate. will get back to you about the citroen 👍

@Ian_83 you looking at the citroen mate?

Also, your 'hard' comment gave me some weird looks from people today

Hmm, I thought that the rolling start was only for certain tracks. I could be wrong though as I haven't played with things like that for a while now. When we tried it before it had to be a manual rolling start.

ah right yeah good point mate :indiff:

i'll take a look later

Manual rolling starts. We go at 62mph and do out own pace lap, leader can pull the pin at any point they choose in the final sector, or we wait for the start/finish line. I'm telling you, that's the best way... 👍

Nah, I'm okay mate. I just wanted @CptMadBean to have my Volvo for the season. He really likes it. ;)

Don't you normally attract weird looks?
i agree, he should 👍

i do, but it's usally because I've done something weird :p

Can I get everyone's opinion on rolling starts?

U know mine.
But lets test it and see what its like

Prior to testing it I think its a good idea, be it manual or automatic. Will need to see how it works in practice though.

If it's automatic i'll say yes

If manual, well maybe it's a tad too much.

I believe everything is just about there.

Manual starts are easy, just takes a little discipline, single file, no accelerating and braking rapidly. Like I say, it also gives those of us in the GTPES some practice of start procedures too. 👍

Ill say this again, if you want equal starts then go with rolling starts, brings more meaning to qualifying.

At Monaco me and agro was P1 and P2 in qualifying but trueblue smoked us into the first corner, A BMW was also close. That's not fair and ruins qualy imo.

Just open a poll and let the majority choose. I know what cars would vote no
