Chris, there was a Caterham Seven Fireblade also on the list, I'm sure you'd love to drive that! Light sports car with a bike engine :D Could you find out if it's possible to use in races please? You could only use it in free run in GT4, not in races :(

Unfortunatly no.....Chris seems to be too good a driver to "clunk" anything hard enough and I suspect at level5 (his current level) the damage isn't yet in full effect, see car damage thread for info on this.

Yeah that would be good to see, pause the game mid race and you'll see different levels of "zoom" in cockpit mode in the pause menu.👍
 
Did you see an Gillet Vertigo, what does it cost?

Did you notice any new/returning tracks that aren't in the "official" track list? or unlockable tracks? :)

well, there are lots more cars you can buy for your first ride, my girfriend started playing GT5 yet, shes already at level 6:crazy: and she went and bought that Nissan March... fun car 👍

One question though regarding the rim/car painting. This may have already been answered, but I noticed when you painted your mx-5 wheels, you only had the one color available...and it was the same as your car. I also noticed the number available or something to that extent was set to one.

Now does that mean you can only paint a car or a rim that color once, and then it's gone from your "paint database", or does it stay there? And is the only way to get new colors is from buying cars of a certain color? Thanks again, would appreciate the answer to this.

you can actually paint your entire car or rims in any color in the world!

lets say you only have 1 car, a yellow one = it gives you 1* yellow paint. after a while you win a black car = 1*black paint. then after a while you buy another black car= now you have 2* black paint... hope you understood? :)

Chris or ANYONE that knows, what happens if you get all gold right away on the licence test? Do you miss out on the bronze and silver prize cars?

Also if you get the bronze prize car can you then get the silver and gold?

not sure if you miss out on the bronze and silver cars, but if you get bronze first, then silver, then gold, you win all 3 price cars

well i try to avoide running into other drivers, but sometimes i did hit hard, but so far no damaged visually or physically for me. It has been official now, the higher your driver level, the more damage your car will sustain (visually and physically)

Was that officially announced? That's unpleasant... makes no sense really to have to grind through levels of invincibility before getting to realism...

This is something I'm very interested in as well.

I saw the Top Gear event being unlocked, is the track exclusive to that or can you just select it for example, in Arcade mode?

What you passed on the Caterham Fireblade! :) I was just looking at it in GT4, would have been nice to see it in demo drive.

Nissan Micra here in the UK, they are fun in real life, I probably will get an MX5 as they are basically a copy of a Lotus Elan crossed with a MGB which are both good cars, MX5 is a good car though.

You wanted an affordable, powerful FR car but never bothered to check out Chevrolet, Dodge or Ford?
 
The only problem I've seen with GT5 so far is how the damage system is implemented; ie how you have to level up before it's applicable, which imho is pretty stupid. You've got a new damage system and we're not even allowed to see it unless we're really good drivers.

Apart from that, bring it AWN, GT5!
 
Man your girlfriend is cool, I'm going to have to take a vacation from mine when GT5 comes out, she wants nothing to do with driving games :(
