ur commentaries are probably the best videos of gran turismo =] Commentaries are the best way to bring out the details of the game apart from actually playing it, but for the next few days, its definetely the most informative way to learn abt the game =]

Never mind. Chris will be on tomorrow and if you noticed he just modded his exhaust pipe. So wait till tommorow and see if you notice a difference.💡:)

Once again, great thread! I'll apologize in advance if you already answered this. In the end, you chose the Miata to begin with, but what other cars did you consider? Did you consider any FF (front-engined, front-wheel drive) vehicles to start with? A FF vehicle would have allowed you to use that vehicle for the FF series, but then again, wouldn't have the rotational properties of the Miata, so handling wouldn't be quite as good.

Ignoring the premium vs. standard element for a moment. For those of us that will be starting our GT Life games this week, do you still recommend the Miata, or would you have chosen a different vehicle to start with that was more versatile for the different series.
 
ok....so in the last video, Chris put a full racing exhaust and high adj suspension on his MX-5. can we get an answer about the exhaust showing up in game as the new racing exhaust and not the stock one?...
 
Hey Chris, great work with all the videos, and the color commentary is a great addition!

Quick question that I have yet to see asked or asnwered. Is there an option to turn off Autosave so that I can spend all my credits on a car (or mods) and "test" it without saving? I liked this option in GT4 as it let me spend my credits more wisely or just to screw around and try different things without making things permanent unless I did a manual save. I also use this a lot in NFS: Shift.

Great uploads. I only watched the ones with replays though, I don't want to see anything other than cars racing at this point. The rest is for me to discover on my own.

What exactly transfers to GT5 from GT PSP? Does it unlock cars for arcade mode that I have in my GT PSP garage? Just wondering so I know whether or not to play a lot of GT PSP before Wednesday.

What I remember hearing is that my cars in GT PSP can only be used in 2-player split screen screen races, selectable from a list. That isn't really "transferring" anything over to GT5... it's just a new list to pick a car from in a temporary split-screen race. boo. :guilty: I'm hoping I played GT PSP for a real reason, because I never really enjoyed it much.:crazy:

I was thinking the same thing.I left the same comment on Chris' video that had those in there.Someone commented that maybe the price is based on auction prices or the rarity is factored in.Maybe this is true maybe it is not but yea those thing are REALLY expensive,
 
Hey chris nice videos, thanks for the hard work and taking time out from playing the game to show us what we are waiting to get our hands on.

Note about the way PD has set up the games. It seems to me that this is very deliberate to allow beginners to get into the game and as they progress and get better the game throws a little more challenge at them, instead of from the get go being hard or too easy. They implemented levels to ensure that this system keeps beginners learning, steadily making them better drivers. It's like being taught, but since your having fun you don't actually notice that you are learning and therefore you have an easier time doing so.

Seriously as a clean driver this is a non-issue as you would be avoiding crashing to begin with and the races would be too short for wear to be a factor.

Hi. This has been answered already. Chris doesn't have a psp. You can use the Cars only in Arcade Mode. So it seems your time spent on psp was Not very worthy. Sorry
By the way, achieving better Cars in the GT Series is One of the Major Things! It wouldn't Be that interesting when you had all Cars at the beginning!
