I demand you stop this tame racing style of yours! Get a video of you going all out drifting through a set of corners!:trouble:

In GT4, you could drift circles around the AI drivers!
 
You can always convert the video file to an flv on your computer and then upload it.. wouldn't that take less time for the upload/processing on youtube? I could be wrong

Hmmm more vids, will have the game tomorrow but probably still watcht the vids for the entertainment and the good commentary.

I would like to drive against him, as long as I can drive with a Nascar or the RB X1 and he is in his Mercedes :D

From the point you stop accelerating at wide-open-throttle, you can drift, grip, or whatever and it only affects your line in the cornering section. As long as you're gripping for acceleration at the corner exit sooner than later, it's all good. Besides, passing (perhaps irresponsibly) in a corner usually consists of drift maneuvers "in the world of Gran Turismo!":sly:

Maneuvering is maneuvering, and unless you're going for a time trial lap, you just need to navigate the course and get around the opponents' cars. I WANT TO SEE LARGE SLIP ANGLES BEFORE AND DURING CORNERING, PLEASE!:D I know you've got the skill, Chris.

It's not like he's endurance racing and rationing his tire wear, yet.:)

Heh heh. I knew as I hit submit on that one someone with more expertise would get me for it.

Still, when I first worked out how to let the tail slide and still control the car, I used to take every corner like it was Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, thinking it was fast. Then I noticed the other cars weren't doing that in replays, and were going faster than me, and I did quite a bit of work on my cornering to take it as smooth as possible, controlling the tail, and picked up a lot of speed.

I imagine if you've got the drift down to a fine art you can keep it roughly the same, but I think good cornering starts from controlled cornering, at any rate.
 
Just got my SE copy, feel like 10 years old. Cant wait for more vids, long sleepless night here I come. Too bad about the video upload.
Edit: Its up as mentioned watching it as game installs :D

Hey off topic but dam i just got my driving force gt and is hell to handle is it normal for first time force feed back users one thing is certain even if i did spun out like 100 times it was fun so any tips guys.

Yes it's normal. Keep practicing with it. There should be an option to turn down force feedback and you can adjust to your preference, but I like it up full and fighting.

There will come a magical moment when you stop playing a video game with a logitech wheel, and you start driving race cars. You won't ever look back.

Hmm and what about the other wheel settings which says amateur, professional, expert or what ever..
how does that affect the gameplay/driving?

They are all basically driving aids ( some like abs are equivalent to real life driving aids) and in general, the higher they are set, the easier it will be to drive, but the less realistic it will be. If you are really struggling, use them all at max, and once you get the hang of it gradually start pulling them back.

just received my PS3 EYE and im traying to get the headtracking working. So far i found an option in "options" but i wasnt able to use the PS3 in gameplay.

Searched the net, but didnt find any info on how it works...

Anybody got something for me?

haha, happened to me to, yea, just do a race or license test and check again, you should have couple new cars... it does rotate but i just dont know on which principal

Installed my PS3 Eye and its working! Video about Headtracking will be up shortly!

Oh wow can't wait to hear what your finding are on this, I have my trigger finger on the buy it now button for one of those PS3 eye things but just want to make sure it works.

Now I'll go watch the second vid of the online race...I know I should be playing but I can't get my driving head on till I've seen the latest Christhedude's video's with legendary Arnie voice overs :lol:

I'd die horribly in a crash if someone turned off traction control in the lobby i joined XD
688hp of angrey RWD Lexus needs the traction control set to 2, to even get some power down :p

I wonder how will it look on the screen if you shake your head like these guys...while driving as well:


And maybe...if it will look crazy...one shall do a video of doing that while driving with the 'What is Love' song in the background...on a city track during night time, like, Special Stage Route 5
