This is not related to this combo but I would like to remind people about the last week’s combo race this evening. We only got 6 people signed up at the moment and that’s just sad.

I did the EU race earlier today and it was a blast. The Audi drives significantly better online than in the time trial, the track is great for overtaking.

I hope I can talk some of you into showing up for the race today at 7PST because that combo is an instant classic.
 
Quick 10 lapper after the OLE, before I head off to bed... could easily stay up another few hours running this, anything with an MR drivetrain always gets a 👍 from me,

Broke through the wall tonight, lowered my optimal by about 2 seconds, also improved my time by about 1.5 seconds. Getting late or I would have kept going. I just kept getting faster.

Initial splits for the board after an exploratory 50+ miles run. Lots of things to work on especially S3 where clearly too slow out of the 'new' turn at the bottom of the hill and S6 where was a poor line through rejoining the Yamigiwa track. So anywhere the two tracks joins basically !

Later start this week than originally planned due to other priorities intervening but should get some quality seat time Friday and over weekend to work on this.

Toughest two corners for me are where the tracks meet up, hard to keep rear end under control on those transitions.
 
Improved (.400) at the line with a tidy last corner and exit. Running +1 BB now. I trail brake more than I should and this seems to help me get it pointed where I want it. Using more of the curbs especially in the first sector. Pretty balanced car for a mid-engined one. I like it!!!
