The confort soft is the third option, right? (doubt because in portuguese there is not a option that is the translation of confort)

Well, there are 3 ranges of tire grades.

Comfort
Sports
Racing

We are using Comfort, the hardest grade of tires, if you will.

And then the softest of those. So #3 out of 9 on the list, if that's what you mean.

Start as wide as possible, and stay in the 3rd. Exit speed is the highest priority.

Cheers 👍

I was no where near wide enough on this lap and made a right hash of the final sector so still more time to come

Will try and get back to this Friday

Good luck all

I decided to change what I (think) I know. Camber to 1.2/0.8 toe to -.04/.28 and LSD to 15/33/19. I used this LSD setting in GT6 so it either works or I'm used to it. I don't know the new suspension settings enough to do anything to them.

.5 at the line after comming back home and changing only ARB to max, most of gain in last sector, i feel more stability with this now, even it is only start of tweaking in. ^^

Code:
Settings I used in this lap (still very beginning):

TC 0
BB 0

RH: 105/120 mm (not sure of imperial values)
NF: 2.20/1.30 (very extremes, but work for me)
ARB: 10/10

all others default (still not have time to play with them)

LSD: default non-changeable

Edit: bold text doesn't work in code window :embarrassed:

20.352
22.919
27.231

after playing with anti-roll bars setting and comming back to last post 10/10, gained another .1 on the line, yet been faster around first splits. Wonder how much i can gain till the end of this round :D

another half a second down

20.151
22.787
27.137

Code:
Settings I used in this lap (still early stage):

TC 0
BB 0

RH: 105/120 mm (not sure of imperial values)
NF: 2.20/1.30 (very extremes, but work for me)
ARB: 7/8
DR Compression: 58/67

all others default (still didn't touched them)

LSD: default non-changeable

Close encounters of a 3rd kind :D (no touch)

The ride height in imperial would be 4.13"/4.72" (divide mm by 25.4 to get inches).

A high natural frequency (and a high compression) up front would seem to be the real-world thing to do. On my replay with the minimum ride height (4.13"/105mm) and stock NF/compression (1.50 Hz/60%), it looked like there should be tire rub in some of the corners.

As for the close encouter, how did the mirror not hit?

Thanks for the conversion.

As for the mirror, this is the rear wheel and front of the car was way more to the left from the cone, therefore no touch occured, even I'm not sure if the cones are so high that you can hit them with mirror (well, looking at the tyre diameter next to the cone, it should be possible).

As for the setup - I dunno what am I doing, but it works. :D (not sure who said this here, or the week before, so I cannot give kudos  )
And is nice to hear some helpful info from more skilled tuners. 👍

Every so often, I have to convert between imperial and metric, so I remember those numbers.
As for tuning; who me, skilled? You haven't seen my splits. Seriously, I didn't start tuning until I saw Kevin's tune. If I have time, I'll probably try everybody's public tune...and I still won't have better than a D3B time.

Ahh ^^ my bad i didn't look into leaderboard. :embarrassed: In that case, I believe you will find the setup which will suit you.

Had about 30 mins tonight to take another run at this very fun combo.

My current setup:

BB +2
RH 4.61/6.10
FR 2.20/2.20
ARB 8/6
Compression 61/62
Rebound 89/90
Camber 0.8/1.8
Toe 0.00/in 0.25
Diff 6/18/5

New splits:

20.050
23.012
27.070

Another .4 on the line with not so good T1

20.149
22.640
26.981

lost .2 in T1 as I said, been messing up with

Code:
Settings I used in this lap (getting closer a bit):

TC 0
BB 0

RH: 105/120 mm - 4.13"/4.72"
NF: 2.20/1.30
ARB: 7/8
DR Compression: 58/67
DR Rebound: 97/92

all others default (still didn't touch them at all)

LSD: default non-changeable

A total of 2s shaved today from yesterdays (let's saydefault) time so far. ^^

Just had my 2nd try at this and gained in every sector. I'm still losing a ton of time in T2, hope to get a couple of more cracks at this before Monday.

After a few more sessions with default tune and only minimal improvements I gave EDK's tune a go this morning, and found a couple of extra tenth. Much easier to turn the car now. 👍 Thanks for sharing.
