Yes, I doubt there will be any other makers that would make one anytime soon. LS/TopM's definitely have some very interesting subject matters.

Here are some of my latest models (recently moved so not best quality pics). Paris-Dakar 1st and 2nd place 959s from 1986 (TSM) and a Minichamps 991 Turbo. Need to put the Rothmans decals on the #185 959.
Also got some oddball models from Porsche’s earliest 911 competition at Le Mans both in the famous Martini liveries. Both significant, historical cars that served as prototypes as Porsche experimented with different ideas at the time. First we have the 1973 3.0 Carrera RSR from Spark, a 2.8 RSR body with a modified rear wing with a 3 liter engine, 1 of 2 ever made with car #46 placing 4th overall at the 1973 Le Mans. Second is the 1974 2.1 Turbo RSR from Norev, the very first turbo 911 to ever compete in motorsports. #22 is chassis R13, 1 of 4 ever made, placed 2nd overall at the 1974 Le Mans. Autoart makes this same car but it’s just too expensive to justify, although it does have opening parts… gorgeous, detailed opening parts.

I originally considered buying a 1/12 Aoshima Kawasaki GPZ900R, but I wouldn't trust myself to paint very well. A 1/12 Wit's version was my next look, but they're very rare and when they pop up, really expensive. So I went for a far more convenient 1/24 Ixo, which is far better sized for me, as I don't exactly have the most space.
It's a bit plastic-y, I took it off the stand for a moment, which was a scary mistake. But as a display piece, it looks nicer in person.
Because a bike size comparison with a crappy 1/24 550 Maisto kit for kids is fun!

So... I got a model like this. But a late version, of post-Soviet production (from the same manufacturer, Agat/Mossar). The Soviet-made models are pretty expensive, because they're not just models, they're antique items. So I decided not to overpay for the age and chrome wheels (I've never seen a real UAZ with standard chrome wheels).
A fire service version of UAZ 469 '85.
I thought it's a fictional livery (never saw a fire 469 in person), but they do exist:

The light beacon looks horrible, it should be replaced with an aftermarket part. And the rear window on the tent is missing, but I can make one myself (transparent package plastic to the rescue!).
But I think I'll just remove the tent and leave it like this:
The quality of this model is bad compared to the Soviet original - the doors barely fit in their places.
It was made in the late '90s or 2000's, and the diecast forms worn out for that time (the production started in the late '80s).
"Made in Russia" is what's written on the frame:

The Russian-made model doesn't look better here, but...

I have some weird pleasure from opening and closing them again and again.
I already improved the car a little (painted the blinkers into orange), and I might also:
- paint the dashboard (it must be of the same color as the body, so I need exactly same color if I don't want to repaint the whole car);
- paint the front grill into black
- buy some aftermarket parts - there are many made for 1:43 UAZ models. Replace the lights, wheels, and add a side mirror;
- replace the decals with more realistic ones and add license plates;
- optionally: make the missing rear window and replace the emergency light on the tent if I want to keep it attached.
So, what can I say? It's not the exactly same model as I had in my childhood (it was turquoise, had chrome wheels and front grill, better diecast quality and "Made in USSR" marking on the bottom). But still, I don't regret buying it. This 469 is not produced anymore, and it's already rare (but I got this one really cheap). And it'll be even rarer later. I just hope it won't collapse of zinc pest...

The good old'time when AutoArt made things accurate.
Im still waiting for mine, they really took all the time they needed for shipments after the easter long weekend. Sigh.
It has been on my wishlist for a couple of years too, but the original MSRP was simply too much.

Couple new ones:
First impressions on both are that they are pretty nice, and don't look plastic. The only give away that they are is the creaking sounds when you pick them up and the way the body feels lol
These make my 3rd and 4th ABS AA's, and I plan on getting a couple more. I just wish AA worked more on their engine detailing on many models, as they have been slacking in recent years.

I'm really happy with them, they look great in my living room. Was actually deciding between the RS en the R, but I couldn't choose. Those colors, both perfect to me
It must have been over two years ago since my last scale model purchase so you can imagine my feelings when I unpacked them. The lighted showcase was only 20 Euros, wasn't sure I would like it that much but I actually do. When it gets dark it's pretty cool 
Ordered two and gave one to my dad, he is a mad Max Verstappen fan and has pretty much all his scale models

That's correct! I saw you guys talking about the rear wheel/ride height, but I didn't see anything noticeable wrong with this one. Would buy another one if they had one in red or green, or purple maybe..

The upcoming Autoart version looks inaccurate with the rear wheels but at least it has opening parts. Honestly Minichamps nailed it. Just wish they had more color options!
Speaking of Spark, the newest 991.2 GT3 RS is available in 1/18 in Viper Green, Chalk Gray, and Miami Blue from CKmodelcars. The blue and gray have the Weissach package. It's quite expensive though!

Minichamps RS has tiny rotors(recycled from their 991 GT3), solid side vents and toy-ish looking tires.
If you can look past these issues, it's an OK alternative to the GTS/Spark I guess.
