It's Thanksgiving. Time for me to sign up.
 
One time in Vegas over christmas I got Carey'd in the Golden Nugget lobby, but the salt in the wound was the next morning. There was a vendor in the food court selling those shirts that light up from sound. Guess what two songs he played back to back to back to back to back to back. Guess.
 
I’ve not been Whammed! yet, so that’s some consolation.

Listened to radio all day with Christmas songs. I survived. Didnt sign up because there is no chance I will make it.
 
The radio station my wife listens to in the mornings started playing Christmas music at the top of every hour.

My days are numbered.

I thought I could at least get through yesterday and enjoy a week off before she got me, but nope.

6:15 AM. She was waiting for me. Didn't even give me an early warning with a cover version either.

Work started Christmas music. Mariah just came on.

I managed to survive the first hurdle. My boss decided to play random Youtube Christmas music playlists at our store for all of Black Friday Weekend. I had Saturday off, but I somehow managed to go all of Friday and Sunday without hearing the Carey beckoning from our several Google Chrome speakers.

Since Christmas prep has now begun in full in my area, it's only gonna get harder from here. :scared:
 
I’m out before December. Have a stinking cold so had to brave the shops for some drugs. Almost made it back out the door, them bam - I got Carey’d.

Failed before signing up. November 15th afternoon at the swimming pool, got Carrie'd by an employee with an iPod relaying the music to the pool's sound system. I was like... ''Ah CRAP. I already got Carrie'd.''
 
As I write this with the local TV news on in the background, that damn song is playing this morning.

I survived my mom's Tiktok yesterday. Thankfully it was George Michael and not Mariah.

Barely alive.
 
Comtemplating just buying the best noise cancelling headphones and leaving them in my car for those trips to the store where I'm exposed the most.

Please count me in if it is still possible to join.
I haven't heard the song yet this year.
I only visit small local grocery store, only listening to my favourites on Spotify (although I like the song, it, on purpose, is not in my list :) ), I don't watch TV.

The only weak points I can think of are - YouTube; commercials during current Qatar football world cup streams; occasional taxi trip; subway stations?

One could think I am a safe bet, but my D-Day is December 15th - we have company Christmas Party on that day...

I'd say you appear to be playing this on the highest difficulty and with the most punishing handicaps and you haven't even pressed "Confirm" yet.
