No no silly. :) I mean as is change the font of the name, not the posts. Like say you want Tahoma as your username font when in a thread. Only can be viewed inside a thread, or profile, nowhere else. Before I was talking about posts, now I'm talking about usernames. :)

I was adding to the part where I said color of name. I restated that to go along with the suggested idea better.

EDIT: Only the fonts GTP provides...
 
It would make the site look really disorganised...

This should be open for everyone: They should let it automatically set the colors and text you want each time you post. You know, like AIM does, because I'm always seeing black text, let things look more vibrant and noticeable. :cool:

Being open to more emoticons would be cool for GTPrem users, and also disabling the right click on these special smileys, so people wouldn't save them. Hope that hasn't been said already. :scared:

Hmm... How about being able to choose what GTP theme you want? Then again that could take some work with what theme is chosen here. Like if you want black, silver, blue and gray, instead of white, beige, red, and blue. Also putting a wallpaper in your profile would be good for GTPremium users... :D

How is that making GTP a better site? Hey buddy, what do you think, this is Burger King or something? Have it your way? NO, this ain't myspace, this ain't hi5, this ain't any other stupid web-site thats designed to waste 5-7 hours of your time trying to costumize it just so you can look "cool" and original. What's next? you wanna post videos and music on your profile?

I'm sorry if I upsetted you. If you don't like my ideas, then just say so, this is a thread where you contribute stuff, since I'm just adding my opinions. I agree with what you guys are saying 100%. I'm starting to think GTP is fine just the way it is. But you can't sit there and say everything I post is useless. I think everyone hates me. :(

No, we're not sitting on Mt. I'm-Better-Than-You. We're not just looking at you and saying "oh, let's pick on this guy because we can hahaha", alright? The reason we're criticizing your posts so often is because, to put it bluntly, they're just dumb. Like Ozzy said, look at the bigger picture of your suggestions. Don't just think of something and feel the impulse to post it right away.

No one "hates" you. Sure, many people are annoyed by you (me included), but we don't hate you personally, okay?

I know this was brought up way earlier in the thread but I wanted to mention again. Having a contest every now and then to a certain event or something would be very cool. I went through the back pages of the premium forum and saw the contest for tickets to the first JGTC in America, I think this would be a good incentive to get Premium because your chances of winning a contest are fairly reasonable.

Nice idea, but it's a little bit regional specific for the international flavour GTP has these days, don't you think?

You're right, but with the contest it shouldn't matter. Like say someone from the UK won the contest but the event was here in the US, planes tickets or something should be included. It works the same for people in here in the US too, if I win but the trip is in California, there's no way I'd be able to get to it any other way besides plane.
 
Plane tickets? You're not serious are you? I highly doubt that this site makes enough money to periodically give out international plane tickets. The reason premium memberships started was to help Jordan pay for the tremendous cost of this site, so he's not just going to throw away all of that money on plane tickets.

I've been thinking about Diablo's idea about getting points for your posts which you can use to purchase different items. How about people with a certain amount of rep get a slight discount at the GTP store. This would be another incentive to make quality posts besides getting the Quality Posts badge.

Thats what i was going to say, but decided not to because everybody went crazy about the original idea.

I feel that this is a good idea, the only problem is that you don't know how much rep you have, so the ability to see rep would have to be reinstated for this to work.
