Do you guys think i still should get it? Maybe there was something wrong with the demo........because my computer specs are fine, even better than fine.

I'm still glad I got it because eventually I'll get a computer that's not obsolete for this game. An then I can really enjoy it.

you could use a better videocard. 9800 pros are 120 bucks on www.newegg.com
I myself have a 9600XT 256mb which is already starting to show its age... :(

I bought it at amazon.co.uk today for £14.99, £16 odd with 1st class delivery so I'll be racing some of you guys soon I hope. BTW I'll be using the same username as I do here, the only racing game I don't is Live for speed, I think others on that game wouldn't realise my name has nothing to do with the game.

Bought mine at EB two days ago.

This game is very impressive. Very much the best driving simulator I've ever tried. I was skeptical what with all the glowing reviews, that I'd be slightly disappointed, or overwhelmed.

There's a learning curve for tuning and being successful, but you can drive right out of the box.

Whoo, I need a new computer. 1.8 mh processor, 256 mb of ram :banghead:  I down loaded the demo anyway for when I get a real computer.

:indiff: Yeah it's sad... I can't play my copy at all... I tried putting all the settings on "my computer sucks ass so show everything ****ty" mode and it still didn't play.

The force feedback doesn't work. Can someone help me?(I'm using a Logitech Driving Force (not pro)

I read somewhere that the Logitech Driving Force Pro for PS2 could work on a PC.
My question is : Would it work with GTR and be still enjoyable?

Yes it works but I can't seem to get any force feedback from GTR

Can somebody do a video of the gameplay in GTR or a link to videos of GTR.
I went to the official site but there was just 2 videos.

Thanks, I have a plan.

I first wanted to buy an Xbox, Forza and a wheel.

Then I thought, man that's a lot of money! So then I had a plan to repair my computer ( mother board is broken, no video card) and buy GTR and a DFP.

Which one is the better plan?

It depends how much the video card costs(You'll need a good one if you want to see 70 cars on the track). The Xbox option would probably be cheaper.

But GTR would be better, if your into your realistic racers get GTR, simple as that. The X-Box option may be cheaper but Forza dosen't come clowe to GTR, if your not keen on racers being too realistic though, get Forza.

Nope, but I find the overall feel of the wheel to be much better than on GT4.

Someone will figure out how to get ffb working, probably over at racesimcentral, or a patch will be released.

I have GTR and Logitech DF on PC.
FF works. There is a option under the controller "tab" in the GTR game. Make sure that it is on. Default setting is off or low, can't remember. I had to put mine on medium to get some FF that was noticeable. I like to feel it a little bit, I don't like it to constantly be vibrating.

Be sure and check all the options to the right side of the screen when your under controller tab in GTR.

Let me know if it works. And btw, this game is great. Got it Thursday and got the wheel working Friday after work. Awesome game! 👍

Also:
Try downloading this patch for Driving force, just download for whatever O.S. you have and then run the app. When you get done, a window will open to setup the wheel. Set-up the wheel then start GTR and check the FF option (I think it is under Advanced button to the right)

Good luck
