Although I do agree, Subaru has lost it's mind lately.

interesting side note. There is a Siata that looks more like a Shelby Cobra than an AC Aceca-Bristol

Got that one perfectly! Even the picture. As for the car, it really isn't that bad, but the source of the godawful Tribeca's design was finally found.

Some history lessons: Volvo, after building 67 samples of it, decided to quit building it. Reason: It was a horrorible car. In fact, during hard cornering, the chassis flexed so much that the doors tended to spring open. Production was stopped after one of the heads of Volvo took one home for a weekend.
 
It's not as ugly as a Kaiser Darrin, in fact if you made a better fitting and less jet engine like hood, you would have a nice looking roadster.
