If I'm reading prevoius hints right it is a Thriller made between 1980 and 2008 not starring Johnny Depp and not European or Asian so is probably American.
Pics tend to hint at themselves... sometimes you recognise the actor or the setting or something and work from there + the hints. There is nothing in that pic that can hint towards what it is. And frankly, Greg IMO your hints point at nothing. I know it seems like a no brainer, but it always is when you already know the answer

Not the title, but the glasses themselves (which, while not important in the film, are somewhat iconic). . . and something addictions said has been the most direct link to this film - even though he doesn't seem to realise it. Yet.
Can someone guess this one already so we can move on...
