Well, I did have to recognize a Monte Carlo, one of the advantages of being born in America before 1980 I guess. Very distinct lines, as you said, and then it was just a trip over to imcdb.

This one shouldn't be as hard I'm guessing, one of the few movies to really freak me out:

This film was Oscar nominated.

recognize that car? not on imcdb for some reason, so this might be a challenge! bit of trivia, once you guess the movie you can do a search for the title and the model and you'll find this very car listed for sale as of last September for only like $7K!
