Had 1 in my lobby had a french ff car with about 1,124 hp crazy this was a week ago.

I haven't seen any hacked cars in a long time. Must be running scared

There's no way for us to measure it but I haven't seen it mentioned for months on GTP since they had that crackdown a while back.

4 days ago I saw a 2500HP Gallardo, 1700HP R35 GTR.

Yesterday I saw a 4WD MX5 VR-Unlimited with 1000+ HP.

From chatting to the people they are getting resigned save games from their friends that have CFW PS3's and using them on OFW PS3's.

I was in a drag lobby not too long ago, there was a guy with a Mazda RX-7 with a 787B engine that'd been tuned and it was 4WD

He thinks simple solution is boot them from your or go join another room...problem solved...to me hacking = not cool :grumpy:

I agree hacking is not cool at all I work hard to make my cars fast without cheating and if I get beat than that is ok too. But when a guy that knows better has a hack and then threatens to ban the other guys console for mentioning it in the room than what is becoming of this game.

yeah its crazy some guy was even bold enough to come on the mic in a drag lobby and said he was going to use his Hacked supra... wow

I think that realistic swaps (as I used to do and still do in GT5) are fine as long as you don't go online with them... Although I did enjoy racing a guy who had a V8 Miata. But overall I don't agree with hacking and going online.

Edit: Or were you guys only discussing the over the top variety of hackers?

I had a couple of those in GT5. Awesome cars.

Or just use the tools provided to limit HP, weight, PP etc. which will catch most hackers before they can enter the room to begin with.

Victim-less crime.

If you don't have anything that can compete with them, don't race them.

As long as they drive responsibly, I don't see the problem.
All racing, real or online, is based on known and agreed upon limitations. That's how racing works. It'd be like Jeff Gordon showing up to the 500 this month with 1400 hp and someone saying, "if you can't keep up don't race, he's driving responsibly", which would be silly. Given that Sony/PD obviously can't get a permanent handle on this, it's up to the lobby hosts to set regulations to catch as many as possible and ensure fair competition as best they can.

Right, so set regulations, it's all there. :)

It looks kinda moronic complaining about somebody's car when there's no regulations to begin with.

I honestly haven't seen any yet on GT6, though I did re-purchase GT5 from a friend so I could finish and make new projects.

The crackdown they had a while ago must have done a good job.

It was a step, they are still pooping up but not so much its something to worry about. Kick, Report, Restrict move on.

PD got the priorities wrong, once again. The hacked cars used by OFW users with modded save files are reset whenever you use them offline, but absolutely nothing happens with them online. PD fail, once again.
