It has wider chassis, different suspension and some power parts to get it about 400hp.Besides the white stripe tires on the Karmann ghia what is done to the Celica?
If you require intelligent responses, this is not likely to illicit them.No your lame analogy is clear, I just didn't expect someone to try and be a smart ass and answer a question with another question, and sure go ahead, respond to my posts but do so next time with a little more intelligence because clearly I wanted legitimate answer.
I couldn't agree more. Like you said, there would still be people hacking, just not as many I don't think. Give engine swaps and the like and I think most people will be happy with that. You will still have the trollers though.![]()
Really? Since you seem to be such a know it all why don't you explain why hackers build hybrids?
I don't need your ignorance either, Last time I checked I have a pretty good understanding of the whole hybrid thing.
-access to the secret menu, which allowed players to do things like make it rain on tracks that don't have rain....GVS in the rain was awesome!!

Wait, really?
🤬. I really missed out by not getting in on that.
If PD gave us Engine/drivetrain swaps as an option, you can bet that people will still try and hack the game.

Anyone willing to guess the new 1.06 update will also address the save file encryption to combat hacking ?
The hybriding thus far doesn't work like that, from what I've been reading. There's no "app" for opening the data from the savefiles, it's only on custom firmware and uses a completely different method to GT5.
Selfishness, ignorance, arrogance? Alright, I gave 30 pounds for the game, how could that be selfish? If I stole it and still complained about it now that would be what you mentioned. You bought the copy of the game too and you have the right to do whatever you want with it, but when some guy in chrome bright Civic kicks in and beats me and others in my BMW for half a minute gap ahead, you know hybriding isn't so much fun any more (except if you're the guy in that civic or some other hybrid car). But hey, that's online gaming today.Me, hostile? Nope
Just getting beyond tired of the blatant generalizations made about the hybrid community, and the ignorance, arrogance, and selfishness displayed by a large percentage of the anti-hybrid community.
what's that cyborg you're talking of?Once again the question of hacking came up in my room.
A guy (a friend and regular), qualified 1st, started 1st, finished 15 seconds ahead of the pack.
A new guy to my room asked how could he gain 5 seconds a lap on everyone else. It was a 425pp race with RS tires and the guy was in a cyborg, with SRF.
I told the new guy “the guy is fast, the cyborg is fast, and he was not racing side by side with anyone”
Meanwhile a couple of the old fart regulars thought it would be funny to say he was cheating.
Several new guys quit before I had a chance to tell the geriatric brigade to shut the hell up.
PD needs to nip this whole thing in the bud. Those with hacked cars are clearly hackers and should be dealt with harshly.
I hope they don’t allow this to destroy the integity of online racing.

The other day I was in a lobby and beat the hosts Garaiya (sp?) with an S2000 Type V, he accused me of using Nitrous and booted me after the race. They should eliminate nitrous too.
Exactly.But you can prohibit it.![]()
But you can prohibit it.![]()
You are correct on both counts..lol. In addition to that, we already know that PD knows how to eliminate hybrids from making it online because they did it with GT5. We know hybriding will pop up in GT6,7,8,9 etc. So why not just build some kind of spec check to keep the cars from making it online. The data is all there in the game, it should be a relatively simple exercise, and they've already done it in the past.I think @Johnnypenso was being sarcastic?
As in, instead of removing a feature from the game because a minority of people troll with it, a better solution would be to add more options for hosts to regulate their rooms more.
