It's a beautiful day here in Michigan, (for a change), I'm sitting on the porch sippin' a rum-n-coke and grillin' some burgers. That might make me just a little late tonight, but I'll be there as quick as I can.

Just wondering does everyone have a Premium 60s LeMans car?

That may have been the most fun I've ever had online racin' guys! Thanks for participating everyone. I'll send the winners a psn message each day in the order of wins so you can each claim your prize tickets, just sent Dominations, Skell send me a pm with your choice and I'll send it tomorrow. The ticket list is on the first page of the thread. Great racin' all! If I'm free next Sunday you can bet I'll have some dirt tracks set up!

why you ask for premium , I have premium and not premium le mans cars ex the ford mark 4 is premium and the chaparral is not

I asked for premium so we could race with cockpit views so it would make the race even harder.

That was some good stuff tonight guys. I was having allergy attacks almost every race. I couldn't see half the time because I was sneezing & my eyes were watering so bad. The "BYOT" (bring your own track) turned out to wonderful idea. So glad I made it. Almost didn't after spending all day in stupid sunshine.
Oh, and thank you Mudd for providing the prizes for tonight's activities.

Yes Indeed guys. Wonderful job. Glad we could come up with ideas and make them all work. Even if I clearly not a sliding kinda guy.

Here is last nights winners:

Cahill, Skel, Crazy B, Titus, and the self proclaimed 'King 'O' the Dirt Road', Mudd

Skel was the only multiple race winner, but the second win was his own track, and second place in that race went to myself.

The incredibly long additional race afterwards also crowned us a new 'Fiat King', though I'm not sure if that's something you want your name tied to, so I'll leave it at that.

Yeah, never thought I would spin out doing 30 mph around the carousel. And trying to turn the car was like trying to steer a jet ski on ice with no motor.

Don't forget Kal, when it comes to the Fiat, sometimes you gotta 'go slower to go slow'.

jajaja great races and very fun moments in the yestarday races ,sorry for miss the fiat race I was tired and went for food.

I will wear that title proudly Mudd. I do this because I have a nice little Fiat collection of 9 now and I'm not planning on stopping. Hey don't judge, some muscle car guys like to have a little soft Fiat spot too.

HaHaa.. The Ole' lady and kids are gone for two days...house to myself...I can hear the dishes in the kitchen rattling from the surround sound thumping out the sound of my '69 Camaro's exhaust. :trouble:

This really looks pretty awesome.

You mean our series? Because it is VERY awesome! We've got plenty of room for more racers, so feel free to give it a try.

Yup, we do have plenty of room. Doesn't cost anything to try it out. Next official races will be Sunday July 10th. In the mean time, I'm sure some of us here will host practice/exhibition races. Go ahead and add Kalmiya117 & Mudd. They host quite a few practice rooms. They will also be happy to help you out with your car selections & tunning.

I will be camping on a gold claim all of this weekend. I plan on retiring when I get back. I really don't think "All the gold in California, is in a bank in the middle of Beverly Hills in someone else's name". If you guys don't see me by next week, I either got into a gunfight with a claim jumper (or claim owner) and lost... Or, moved to Beverly Hills.

Good luck on your gold dig, Skel! Don't forget your 'Trans Am' buddies when your rich! (320gb Slim's) :dopey:

And yes, if anyone is interested in this league but wants to sample the format first, feel free to send me a friends req, just make sure you include "T/A series" in your request. I'm online pretty much every night (true GT5 addict) in various Muscle/Street car rooms and I am forced to ignore request's that I don't recognize or are not labelled.

By the way, what did you winners from last week get from your prize tickets? Titus received the Lambo Miurra...NICE! :D
I lucked out out and received the Ferrari 330 P4. 'Bow bow...cheka-chekaaa...' (that's the theme from the 'Ferrari scene' in "Ferris Bueller":O

Not a bad take on the day!

Chaparral 2J! I think that's a win!

Sign me up, now to pick a car.

Welcome, Disinfected. Pick two cars, check the first page of the thread for the list of eligibles, and there's pic's of what several of us are running to give you an idea of the competition. Don't stress over the car choice too much, we are pretty easy going about newcomers needing to switch cars if their choice isn't working for them. We are all here for the fun.

Also, for all league racers, it looks like my Independance Day celebrations will be on Saturday, so I should be free for some racing on Sunday. I don't know what Kal has planned, but if he's busy on Sun, I'll set up a room for us to practice at the Forest and maybe have a little fun with some odd-ball tracks.

I watched these two battle like this for a few laps:

This last one is one of my fav's, the pic is right in the middle of a 5 lap battle in which the two of us traded position at least once per lap:

...anyone else suddenly have the urge to race?

I may have a room open tonight for practice. OR if enough show up we will go ahead and run a race or two. All depends on involvement.

I mma be honest, I need to start driving the muscle cars more. I am losing my touch.

I also 2x checked the scoring.. again. And it all adds up. I think taking pole 3 out of 4 races (15 points) is what's keeping you in the lead. Only 3 pts separate 1st thru 3rd..

Very nice Mudd! That's better then the GT40.

I'm way out of practice. The GT40 is handling similar to the Z06.. But at least the Z06 had HORSEPOWER. If I just had some time to spend time on it, but I don't have time to make time to get better lap time with it.... whoa...
I haven't even driven the Mach 1 in weeks.

Yea, the summer months are making attendance spotty for any race series, and I realize that it is effecting or point standings a little, but regardless of any excuses, if and when I beat you guys I'm afraid your gonna have to hear about in here... probably several times.:dopey:

All I can say is mudd has def improved and I am quite proud of that fact. He was doing a effective job stay with me when I was in the Challenger, and even more so when I was in the Camaro.

Also, here is my excuse for possibly missing the races this weekend, The roar that comes 20 ish seconds after the launch is just awesome.

Tomorrow hoping to go to air museum.

That photo kinda looks like my Z06 I was running last season.
Takes off like a rocket with a trail of tire smoke behind it.

I really wouldn't know, Skel, I didn't get to see much of the Z06 last season, except for the first corner of each lap when I gave it a nice 'punt', then it was gone. :D

Thanks for the props, Kal. You guys should be proud, all of my recently acquired online racing skills have been learned from the "Vintage Trans Am Racing School". It's pretty difficult to find online racers at a higher skill level that are willing to share their experience and game knowledge. This series is full of good, experienced online racers who enjoy helping slightly less experienced racers become more competitive. And that definitely adds to the fun of online racing.
