Well Guys, seeing that I am still in daytona beach I will not def be hosting the races tonight. I guess I will have to make up for the lost n points later on. I hate standby flights.

What really got us was the weight restriction not showing up on the scrren that daytona has because the long runway is not in use due to work.

Joy.

Did however go to Fantasy of Flight yesterday and saw soem neat stuff. Pictures if wanted later.

Sounds like good times Kal. Are they making you go on a diet?

Mudd, you host this one. I don't have any of the new comers on my buddy list. And I've been having horrible connection issues lately. I'll be surprised if I finish both races.

Ok, I'm takin a break for sum dinner, should have room up about 7:30 EDT, we'll try to have race started by 8:15 or 8:30. We'll be running Group 2 at Deep Forest, followed by Group 1 same track...then depending on attendance we'll decide what to race afterwords. I'm more concerned about attendance then I am about starting on time, if anyone needs a few extra minutes to get there please send me pm or PSN message.

Congrats to Titus for renaming the Forest to "Titus Forest", he absolutely owned the Group 1 race there last night, a flawless victory. One small mistake by Skel and myself allowed Titus to completely run away with it. There was definitely some great racing and passing going on in both races, nice job everyone. My first time as host went pretty well, the only glitch was a messed up starting grid for G2, thanks for being patient while we straitened that out. We also had a couple new racers join us last night, hope to see everyone return next week. Our post-race practice at Indy was fun, I really think we should look into a race series with the modern Trans Am cars, all the cars we used seem to be competitive with each other at 640pp, that was some fun racing.

My Favorite track and I missed it. Anywho, I arrived in Chattanooga around 1:15 in the morning on a late CRJ200. We barely got onto too both flights with seats open. It is interesting when there are several passengers congratulating you on getting on. Def says we've been spending too much time in the airport.

Titus defiantly owned Deep Forest in G1 class. There was no way I could go the distance on tires, so I pitted on lap 11. I was about 1.5-2 seconds/lap faster after pitting, and might have been close at the end, but I lost the handle couple laps later coming out of the last turn. But since Titus didn't win in both classes, "Titus Forest" isn't the correct nomenclature. And I won it last season in G1.

The modern day equivalents of our G1 cars at Indy was a lot of fun. Turns out the Ford GT LM Race Car is just as much of a pain as the old one. Next race I pulled out the '06 Z06 RM, and completely regulated.

I'll try to get the standings updated by the end of the day today. I subtracted the 2 worse races everyone has had thus far, and point standings are A LOT closer then they look.

Perhaps your right, may have jumped the gun on renaming the Forest. I think I'll look into hosting a 'one-off' race there soon, 'Z28's at The Forest'. I'll try to recruit some racers from Kal's Z28 thread, pack the field with fast Camaro's and find out whose yard it really is.

who need a set up for the GT-40 I have one very nice , with the gt40 standard was very dificoult to drive this car , and this car tuned is very easy to drive if somebody want it ask me for it.

Count me in if you do this.

Coolracer, PM me the GT40 setup. I don't "need" it, but maybe I can get something usefull out of it. It's hard to make it driveable and fast.

Oh, and the standings are up. I kinda did it in a hurry. Been really busy at work. Double check your scores. (I'm making you all responsible for making sure that I get your scores right!)

&@$#%*!!! "Yellow Light" strikes again... I'm gonna have to break down and buy a new console...getting tired of rebuilding this thing every 🤬 month. Well, not tonight. I'll try to fix it tomorrow, hopefully see you guys on the track again soon... :indiff:

Well, guess that answers the question of you want to practice tonight!

I am still waiting on mine to give me issues, but so far so good. (knock on wood)

Looks like on the scoring, I will need to finsih first twice with poles to gain my lead again. I better get cracking with my Challengers.

OHHHHHH......that's why you had voice chat issues in my lounge?

Yes we are always open to new entries. Come by this Sunday at around 8-9 Est. time. Just friend a few of us too because were alway practicing on weekdays.

I see now...everybody just waiting for Mudd to be out of the picture so they can join up. :odd: Kidding really, welcome to the series. Please review the first page OP for the cars choices, regulations and race format. Add Kalmiya117 on PSN, he should be hosting this weekend. You can add me (Mudd) as well if you'd like, though I'm not sure how long it will be before I'm on again, hopefully soon.:nervous:

I'll try and start making these as well. Need to buy some 'murican cars first. :)

Woot! It's Brad!

Will add later tonight probably. Looking forward to a good racing series again.

Mudd, maybe you need to try my tool set. However, I've done mine 3 times now. Everytime, I try to heat it up a little more then I did before. If it happens a couple more times, I might just have it put down.

Blows me away that electronics can't last 5 years anymore.

Guys sorry I have missed so much racing this season. Between work and summer plans my GT time has been reduced to nearly nothing. I will try to make a few more races this season but my time will be spotty. I'll keep following the thread and try to stay in contact. Keep up the good work. Hope to race again soon.

We all realize that life can and will take priority over this race deal, or GT5 in general. But we are just here in case you need something to to NOT think about or just fullfill every guys desire to do insane speeds on tracks.

Well, just ran quite a few laps at Indy Road, ps3 appears to be working again. I should be good for another two weeks!

Cobra, don't sweat missing the races, like Kal said, it's summertime, there's alot more activities to keep us busy this time a year. We'll hold your spot in the grid for whenever you can make it.

Another beautiful weekend in Michigan, just got back from a short cruise:

I think that explains why all my GT5 muscle cars have matching body color wheels. :dopey:

I really wish PD would have put one of these in the game. :grumpy:
