The best looking kit for the 5th gen. You'll definitely need the JDM fog lights to go with it, which can be kind of expensive, but afterwards you'll have one of the cleanest looking 'ludes on the road.
 
Definately getting the JDM foglights. They ARE pricey...$300 on ebay.

It's nice. But, personally, I'd rather get the rare Mugen kit for the BB6. ;)

Its not that rare... King still has them listed on their site.
 
I like the Mugen kit, especially the spoiler as its really the only spoiler I like on the 5th gen Prelude. How much does King have the kit listed for?

What the **** is that? Over $600 for a SPOILER? So the spoiler is more expensive than the entire lip kit I want? Anyone have a replica Mugen spoiler out there? I'm not paying $600+ for a spoiler that realistically serves ZERO purpose for me and my daily grind other than to look good.

@JCE3000GT - The 5th gen looks better without one IMO, but yeah, kits can be expensive for quality pieces. Just remember, not every kit sold on Ebay is will come exactly as its picture shows it will. Make sure to read the feedback as that will usually tell you how much work was need to bring the parts up to installation specs.

Mugen parts = quality...

no bad fitment or crappy looks. also will not crack MUGEN FTW

Too bad most everyone there is a complete dick.
 
All I'm saying is if it were really rare you would have a hard time buying it.

Theres a difference between rare to find for sale and rare to see on the street (usually due to expense), he just didn't specify which.

I'd consider how low you plan on lowering the car and whether its your every day driver or not when purchasing a kit as you don't want to be smashing your brand new, super expensive front bumper off every curb you have to drive over. I've seen guys around here with fairly low drops (1" tops) who still have cracked apart and scrapped up front ends which just ruins the look of their ride.
 
I'm not planning on dropping the car at all. I mean its already low enough to the ground. I have to drive real slowly through neighborhoods with hills and intersections in Plano that have nasty dips in them.

EDIT: You should hook me up with tires. Summer is over, and I've no longer got my job. Tire prices suck, especially for anything decent.
 
Pick up some used ones from your local tire dealer. At the place near me they're usually around $25 bux per tire, installed. You'll get about a year or so with them, which isn't bad. Or you could be like me and eat through a pair every couple of months by doing burn outs in your old 3.1 Cava-poop box-lier. Wear them away to the steel and you'll be doing sparkily smoke shows for people! :lol:

Well, I'm not looking for just something to drive on, I want a set of decent tires.

I'll also be eating through a set every couple of months, but not from burnouts.

The falkens are now out of my price range. I'm looking at bfgoodrich Gforce sport.
 
Here's a quick search. I only included Extreme Performance (best), Max Performance, and Ultra High Performance (less...best). I know you want go-fast tires, and I wouldn't accept anything less than these categories for the Sol.

The Kuhmo Ectsa MXs are $79, and the G-Force Sports are $82. The BFGs will most likely last longer, but each wear rating is relative to each manufacturer. I can't see many more than 20,000 miles on a set of MXs. But the MXs can double as track day and autocross tires because they're kickass.

Remember, all the performace ratings are relative to the class, not all tires. It's hard to compare tires from a different class. I really think TR should add a rating that covers all tires, so people can actually see how dangerous those $40, 60,000 mile tires really are.
