They sort of were, during GT7's development. Gave PD some feedback on the car physics, IIRC.theoretically ain't most GT World Series drivers also testers?

Yeah honestly the current generation game should be just given updates with the next generation console focusing on the newer GT.I'd rather the next Gran Turismo game not be restricted.
Now I understand there's a massive leap in tech between the PS4 and PS5, but PD would be better off maximizing the potential on GT8. Single player races with higher grid sizes, the ability to choose which class you want to race on if Multi-Class is part of the campaign, things like that.
Sorry for the late reply.Idk, it would have been better to have gt8 available for all the ps5 models. Is the PRO better than the standard ps5? What are the pros and cons?
Yes this also my biggest complaint tooIt's a shame PS5 Pro doesn't support ultrawidescreens, that would be a worthwhile upgrade from the PS5.
It all feels like diminishing returns graphically (ultrawidescreen support notwithstanding!).Really confused on these console releases.
Outside of enhanced graphics, is the ps6 supposed to provide anything that the ps5/ps5 pro cant?
I hope Sony goes all in with VR technology but I dont think that will be the case
Except custom career mode, or custom{ized} championships. Or just one massive custom championship at any time?I dont think a new gt on ps5 would be pointless, it would be something new and fresh, and it does way more than what a couble new cars and tracks can bring in gt7.
Maybe pd would be able to finally do proper career mode with sophy closer to getting in good place, sounds could maybe take an even futher step, i think mainly also the cars that have the pitch glitch could maybe be resolved.
New fresh tuning and customize options etc this is just a few things that comes into mind, no update for gt7 is going to provide that in my opinion.
Agreed - the crossgen fallout will be irritating. The longer GT8 is away from the release the better it will be in my eyesA somewhat-reliable leaker says the PS6 (and Xbox Helix) are still on track for a release late next year. Feels a bit early to me (especially with the ongoing memory price hikes) and as a Pro owner I probably won't upgrade for a while. Still have a massive backlog of PS4 and PS5 games. If those launch dates are true I'm kind of hoping GT8 isn't due for at least a few more years. Can't deal with another crossgen situation and all the moaning again.
I would like bigger grids using Sophy AI (and also weather on all tracks but let's not get greedy). That may be possible on the PS5 Pro, using PSSR upscaling to run lower internal resolutions and free up performance for elsewhere, but not sure it can be done on the base model so a crossgen GT8 still would be held back for me.I'm not sure it'll matter too much - I'm personally expecting absolutely everything to be cross gen next generation, where devs build for the PS5 (or, for third party devs, probably the Switch 2 is the actual baseline) and then the PS6 version just scales up the graphics to be shinier.
All the rumoured upgrades seem focused on the AI/ML side for graphics, rather than anything power-wise that meaningfully would mean your game would be hobbled on the PS5. And the PS5 is much, much more competitive power-wise than the PS4 was at the same point in its lifecycle.
Thanks for the feedback mate, I'll write your info down on a notepad.Sorry for the late reply.
Yes overall the pro ps5 is better then the base ps5 you get better framerate and with PSSR2 coming in a few weeks games will run and look even better.
Con its super expensive $749 expensive.
Overall I love my pro ps5 its my favorite system I owned over ps4/ps5 Base model.
Ps6 will be just ps5 pro pro, if they can they will even put out games for the PS4, games are too expensive to makeI'm not sure it'll matter too much - I'm personally expecting absolutely everything to be cross gen next generation, where devs build for the PS5 (or, for third party devs, probably the Switch 2 is the actual baseline) and then the PS6 version just scales up the graphics to be shinier.
