alright...i just got my sharkport and that MKS program that i need. wtf do i do now?! or if you feel like telling me, would n e one be kind enough to set me up with a 4wd spoon civic type r with a subaru engine?

I'm no expert but....

1) Use Sharkport and "back up" your garage file from slot #1 mem card.

2) Close Sharkport program.

3) Open Garage Editing program

4) Click "read garage", select the garage you just saved using Sharkport

5) Now you can select any of the existing cars in your mem card save and manipulate parts, even select the "hidden" cars available. Try experimenting by Right clicking on the engine or suspension and create a hybrid.

6) When finished, click "write garage" and overwrite your last save. close Garage Editor.

7) Now open Sharkport and upload the recently edited save onto your mem card slot #1.

DONE. [just practice a few times, this process becomes very easy, now you just have to keep all the new garage files organized!]

Personally, I've only hybrid'ed (is that a word?) basic parts, like engine and suspension. Never frozen up on me. However, I'm not sure what you risk when adjusting grip defaults and shine codes or using different base codes. Then again, I just started this stuff about a month ago. : )

I kept my original GT3 save separate, only importing a couple very mild hybrids. Then I have a separate mem card to experiment on the freaky stuff. hehe.

I think the super high hp hybirds are a bit silly. Turns GT3 into an arcade game rather than the intended simulator. I bought the sharkport just to get the Diablo/Porsche/Lancia. IMHO.

It's not really risky at all, doing it with MK's, but like linoleum
said, keep your original save seperate by giving the "hybrid" save a new name. That way if U do have a problem, U will always have the original.
