A 51cm Standard Definition TV, and it's not even flat screen lol. I could buy a HD telly and a G25 but I need to buy a car first. Hopefully I'll have a HDTV and a G25 wheel by the time Gran Turismo 5 comes out.

Of course with my g25 + wheel stand pro + philips 9604h full hd 37" + kenwood surround system
can't waittt

42" 1080p(set to 720) with a DS3, but soon to use wheelstandpro or rennsport wheel stand with a logitech driving force, hopefully eventually a G25 but probably a DFGT!!

Well since I now have a wheel a DFGT, I don't think i'll ever use the pad for Gran Turismo again, I certainly don't want to, the wheel is far more fun so...
DFGT + 32" HDTV 720p

By GT5 I will hopefully have a G25, a Playseat and a HD TV. I've been saving up for a while now

DFGT + Speedblack + 40W3000 Full HD + Logitech z-5500 = hours of fun.

I plan on playing GT5 with my Driving Force GT and on a HDTV. Although, I don't have a HDTV yet, I do plan on getting one once I have some money.

Logitech G25 on Wheelstand Pro and Samsung L32 FullHD with Logitech 5.1 Soundsystem.

i would have played with the g25 wheel and 35'' tv but my ps has the yellow light of deth and gtp is locked in it i think im going to make it till gt5 comes:crazy:👍

I am not that far ahead yet, by the time this game comes out a number of things could happen.

I could find a job and buy a 32" or there abouts.
I could stick with the 68cm rear projection SD hand me down which my parents gave me.
I could be given our 42" 1080p as a hand me down.
Last but not least, I could win a TV (very unlikely).

As for how I play it, DS3 mainly, but if I get a job there will be a G25 coming (maybe even the new one if they release it). I do have a Logitech Extreme Driving force ex (at least I think thats the name) but it really isnt too flash.

I played GT4 with a controller, but I bought a steering wheel for DiRT and GT5 (Prologue) and it's so much more fun. For everyone who is going to buy a wheel: BUY A LOGITECH ONE!!! :sly: I bought a PHILIPS 42"Full HD tv for my bedroom and I'm racing with the Logitech Driving force GT!

Often!!!!

Oh the poll HDTV, wheel and surround sound.

DFP + 42'' screen full HD Plasma Panasonic and Logitech z-5500

Am I the only one who thinks a wheel stand is crap and butt ugly?
If you buy a wheel, use it like it's meant to be used.

I'm gonna upgrade from the DFP to a G25, design and build a compact, folding driving rig to I can stash it under my bed, and play it on my normal non-HD TV.

Whatever, man, the image clarity on my normal telly is definitely good enough 👍

How exactly is a wheel meant to be used then? I thought it was meant for driving.:sly: What is wrong with having a wheel stand, I am getting one because it's the best solution for me, I just don't have room for a fixed setup.

Sony 46 inch full HD, Sony Sound system, and god in the form of black plastic.

With a DualShock 3/Sixaxis on a PC monitor.
SAMSUNG SyncMaster 2493hm with a SIXAXIS or maybe a DS3 (with new sticks so i can enjoy it even more ).

EDIT: Sound wise i have a REALLY good stereo system (Harman/Kardon amp with 2 custom loudspeaker).

DFGT on an SD TV. I'd like a plasma, but just can't afford it.:(

I'm hoping my Fanatec will arrive before GT5 gets here. I think they're gonna' give me a free copy of Duke Nukem Forever for the delay.

You can actually build a wheel stand pretty cheaply, I think most of them are way over priced. You just get some RHS (rectangular hollow section) steel, get the supplier to cut it to the lengths you need, drill a few holes for some bolts and you can use the bolts as pivot points so it folds away. If you want something a bit better but more expensive, you can buy some cheap bearings as pivots and have a separate support which you put a pin through to keep it upright, then just remove the pin to fold it away.

I dont like the way many wheel stands are a single "stem" which goes between your legs. It just seems wrong on so many levels to me :p I prefer something you put your legs through. Properly designed, it wont take up anymore space than the single stem designs.

I might CAD up some designs and post them later :p

So, your Fanatec will arrive in a parallel universe? :dopey:

I have a G25 currently, but I will need to upgrade my PC monitor - I'm attempting to assemble a computery-studio type-thing, replete with stashable driving seat of sorts. I may end up having to move into more cramped accommodation, though, which would put paid to the whole plan... :nervous:
