NZ$29.95/US$20.90 for a second phone line for the internet.

Yet my parents are completely hesitant towards paying NZ$12/US$8 more per month for 2mbps download and 192kbps upload. Once 10gb is reached both speeds are capped at 64kbs, which is what you get for very poor Internet services provided here in NZ.

Mine is supposed to be 4 mb down and 384 up according to Insight Broadband. However, when I ran a speed test on it I noticed that my upload speed is about 363 kb up and 3,717 mb down. Apparently Insight Broadband has been raising the upload and Download speeds because when my parents first signed up for it, it was a measely 128kb up and 2.6 mb down.

My parents pay 44.95 per month for broadband.
