How good are you at racing?

I'm average but far from inexperience. My strong points are head to head and rally races.

My weakness is time trials because i end up screwing up towards the end.

I think the mclarens are THE two hardest road cars to drive fast! The MP4 is, i think, harder than the F1.

i'm very good at overtaking but once i'm in front i tend to slow down and let the others pass me because i don't want to be too aggressive to keep my position and i'm afraid someone might throw me off the track.

Im amazing online I hardly ever get beaten :sly:
Except for the other week FGT+Nurburgring Nordshlife Time Change= Total Blindness

I'm pretty good at kart racing. As for using cars, I'm good, but not great. I tend to drive slow when in front, and I hate getting punted.

I've always been pretty fast with the controller, but since I recently got a Driving Force GT my driving is a lot smoother, and a little faster. I've been to the BMW (///M) Performance Driving School and the things I learned while driving an M3, M5, and M6 have helped me a ton with this game.

That school is GREAT! Did the three day school when I was with BMW...it was fun to apply what I learned from PC/PS/XBox racing sims on real cars...had a blast!

My quality of racing? Mediocre...as I said, a lot of simulated racing, and a couple years of casually racing karts.

If I use the GT Academy results thus far as a gauge than I am very good (within the top 5% assuming there are around 2000 competitors per region, though that may be very optimistic).

In online races, if the cars are truly even, I tend to place podium, but I have noticed there are some drivers that are just beyond my league and produce times 2 seconds faster than me on some tracks. I find passing online a bit frustrating because, unlike when against the AI, the car in front can fight back forcing you into an extremely risky move (I call it: doing a Schumacher).

I'm awesome. My agent says I'll probably be a F1 driver in the next 5yrs or so.. guess its all right eh?

j/k.. :P

Dunno really, I'm not average, but I'm not the best. Maybe a bit better than above average? I use a controller and lap fairly quickly, using only ABS 1. To see my real pace i'll probably have to get a wheel.. which may be a few years :P

I used to suck pretty bad. Like follow the dotted line and brake at the red parts and STILL screw up bad. Then I got a racing wheel for xmas and got used to that. Still sucked. When I retired to a sad slow life of running one car on one circuit, I got pretty dang good. At that setup. I still suck at actual A-spec racing tho...
