My laptop has this thing called NEWS.NET and keeps on contacting me like an overly attach girlfriend. How can I get rid of this annoying thing :grumpy:.

Tried that, I don't clearly understand it all, sorry but I'm not good with computers :ouch:.

...

If you are using Chrome, go to the Settings tab on the right hand side of your toolbar> scroll down and click Settings on the left hand side click Extensions then uncheck the box next to News.net. Should do the trick.

None, I tired getting one but the ones I tried involved a paid subscription or information that I don't have.

Well if it's definitely not something you've knowingly downloaded, I'd recommend downloading Avast (it's definitely free) and running a full system scan.

Where is the uninstall button, trying to find it?

I think Avast got rid of it 👍, I'll come back if NEWS.NET comes back.

It's coming back.

@GrayFox how can I uninstall it, I try but can't seem to uninstall it :(.

I went there but (Sorry for being a complete dummy) can't find the option to uninstall it.

I think I got it, thank you very much :D (It got very annoying).

I also got a free anti-virus as a bonus :P.
