correct me if im wrong but to keep a drift u have to tap tha acel button right?

god i need training... Could n-e-one give me settings for tha rx7 rx and the Supra rz... Plz

try my Supra RZ settings in the drift depot...to keep the drift going longer you have to have a higher entry speed. if it's too high, you'll go off the track, if it's too low..you won't have enough momentum to maintain the drift.

I maintain a drift by Maintaining variating acceleration...
So I keep on the accelerator spinning the back, and the heavier I push the more the car turns in, and the less it starts to slow and the car straightens...Very precise depending on the corner...

hmmmm........ breaking tracktion and holding a drift. i say sometimes it cold be how your gear ratio is set. you should extend 1st and 2nd to the furthest than even out the rest. here i got some gear setting for u.

the gears is really comeplicate to explain set it to your best ability........the gears is wat a makes the difference..........have the gears short.......if u watch initial D listen to the conversations(look at the subtitles)

brakes----front 19 and rear 9

initial torque 50
accel 60
deccel 30

tip on the gears....follow closely if u want it rite

first set final to 4.100
than set auto set to 10
than make all gears long and even.
than set final to 3.000

down force on rear set to 36.0

stability controll o
traction 1

usually one drift setting for a type of car that is adjustable between cars will be good enough to begin drifting with... or actually stock setting is good enough... and then adjust the ways in which you see fit... i usually start with the same settings lowering by half not changing suspension proportions... not changing sway bar... lowering hte camber rather than raising it... i dislike lots of camber because it limits your grip and will make your drifts slower but easier to control... then i give myself a close range gear setting... no lightening cept of 4wd then i do one at a time if needed... brake setting adjusted so i dont have to early brake if it can be helped... vcd adjusted between 10% adn 30% where it feels the best... basically fool around till you get something you like... and then play around with it for every car you wanna drift with.. my advice is not to change your method... but ofcourse the number will vary from car to car

negative camber increases grip, not decreases. the measurments aren't shown in negatives because there's no such thing as positive camber. a high number would mean more negative camber (top of tire closer to spring) i use higher negative camber in the front than rear, for obvious reasons.

if i want to do long turns. when i know im almost out of the drift but i still want to extend it i reverse and e-brake for just a bit. just enought to carry you back in the drift. then i just accel out. works for me, but ive told some of my cousins to do this, but they say it is too hard. :D

actually... i do not believe that gt3 accomodates for strut bending under cornering loads... therefore a 0 camber would infact be perfect for maximizing the amount of rumer perpendicular to the road and therefore maximizing grip... camber is used in the real world to accomodate for cornering load deforemations that bend struts and change a normally perpendicular wheel to ground relationship to one where the wheele is close ont eh bottom to the center of the car than at the top... in this case camber would be use to increase grip by simulating a perpendicular relationship of wheel to ground when the strut is bent during cornering loads... unless gt3 accomodates for load deformations any camber would lower your traction... excessive camber is for show and while i think it looks cool i think its rediculous.
i do not know if in gt3 camber ioncreases grip in some other way than by accomodating for a formula that allows some way for the grip to be increased but it in no way can simulate the real aspect of driving with load deformations in you suspension... if you have a sturt that can handle larger loads with less deformation chamber would not be needed... that is the reason y i do not raise camber... i acutally lower it from 2 to 1 and 1 to .5 never tried with 0-0... i am sure gt3 does something like have an optimum grip level at some chamber and after surpasing this limit grip will begin to decrease... but like everything else in this game balance is key...

it is my belief that camber really isnt that important in this game... negative and positive is relative in the game and IRL... one way is bad and occurs naturally and the other way is good because it compensates for this naturally occuring camber angle...

i dunno if anything i said makes sense oh well... camber was not the point of what i said earlier anyways... find a setting that suits your style by experimentation and it will suit for most cars you wanna drift... ff excepted

dam dude i am an engineer not a freakin english major... give me a break...:)... i never could spell for crap but ehhh i no longer car... i rely on spell check on word hehe... anyways... people know what i am talking about and that is what matters... if you look closely i almost never spell the right either... esp when the word before ends in a t...

sorry if it irks you... i will respell just for you lan evo
