I already posted this in another thread, but I think it also deserves one of its own.

Also, I do not understand how someone can seriously charge money for that and sleep at night. I mean even someone who has no knowledge of putting on new body parts at all would easily do a better job, let alone anyone who does this as a job.

Wow...

I would be really pissed off if I had the same problem. They ruined your car, you paid them for ruining your car thats wack. ( I havent not used wack in my life :indiff:)

Thats some awful work. (note to self if ever mod cars find opinions :dunce:)

I've read through this on another forum and I will echo what I said there, why wouldn't you look over your car with a fine tooth comb before signing the papers? Isn't that common sense? I agree the work is shoddy at best and should have been done correctly but unless you trust the person doing your work 100% (and you shouldn't) you should always double check to make sure everything is to your liking.

He needs to get his money back

Two questions even BEFORE that should've been an issue.

1. Was this customer the first attempt for this "body shop"

2. Why is he still in business period?

Side question would be... did he look at this "body shop's" previous jobs. Most "body shops" I've been to show their work in a photo album in the waiting area or have pics on the wall.

Finally, $750 for that? wow...

I read through the forum and the guy did many jobs before his. The person with the Z did see previous jobs and he said that the good outnumbered the bad.

I sure as hell hope that shop has a good lawyer, cause they're about to get ownt.

I'd kill him. Straight up. Blood shed all the way.

I can't help but feel sick to the stomach when looking at those photos. It's appalling, the level of negligence on the hopefully soon-to-be defendant's part is horrendous and inexcusable.

What's shocking is that the owner used to do amazing work. How did he turn to this?

Oh wait. Probably because he spray painted too many times without a mask....

Hmm, not only would i not pay for the crappy job that guy did but i would sue, he did irrepairable damage to the chasis integrity.

You could probably either spot weld those holes, or put steel or titanium rivets in them, in which case it would make the chassis stiffer than it was before.

Yup, caught that on another thread. 👍 Didn't really have to say anything on that other thread, but since this came out I guess I could talk a little about it. I think that the owner himself is to blame for it, not just the body shop owner.

He (I think) never did a background check on the shop before and thought of just doing the body work near his place and said he would pay "a lot more" just to get the body work done right, signed the contract and paid them. Then when the work on his car got delayed for so long he decided to pick up the car home that night and haven't checked anything on the car at that time. He only realized the damage the next day. Before he could do anything it was too late....... (okay, I don't really know how it goes but thats all I could think of right now)

But the owner is really to blame for as well. If there was already a few customers complained about the work, he should have fired the workers that had done those shoddy work and get really good professionals to do it. If the owner himself was the one doing it he should get someone to do it. Either way, since this body shop owner has been around for a while and didn't give a flying s*** about the complaints, then he is just a mother******* b****** that only cares about getting money.

Either way, that was really a lose-lose situation for both parties. The owner got his 750$ burned and now has to pay more for the damage to his car (assuming that he didn't win the case) while the owner may face legal charges over vandalising other peoples cars and get negative rep from other people and lose more customers.......

<3
Damn, I live near that shop. What should I do to them? :trouble:
Well, you could try burn the place down with arson. :p Then he would totally be out of business......

NO!!! Not a Japanese Car!!! they are imortal, why does the world have to be so cruel!? :(

Lol for this post, but the matter of the thread, got damn that’s bad work, and that was just a side skirt and lips! Imagine if the guy had given him the car for a full treatment… what would he have now?

My favorite part is the wood. And how the owner of the Fast and Furious cars tells him his parts are ****.
