How to unlock dlc cars

I downloaded a car pack recently, but when I go into the game I can't find any of the cars. The car pack has a scirocco R, and a new mini and a few others. Anyone now where to find the cars? Or must I still unlock them?

Click on the big down arrow on the GT5 mode selection screen.

In the opening menu of the GT5 screen, click on the last icon (big arrow). You have to "install" the dlc from within GT5 to be able to access the DLC.

I don't have a big arrow icon. My last icon is a save icon. Like a red dot

On the main menu where GT moder, arcade mode and course creator is there is a circular red button with an arrow on it. Click on it and your DLC will be there. But you have to install it before using it.

No. I can't update. I tried twice, but it gets to about 300mb and gives an error. Then exits

Then you cannot use the DLC.

So I managed to download the 608mb update, now it fails at an update that is 301mb. How many more updates are there?????

Here is my advice.
1. Delete your game data (NOT your save data)
2. Start GT5, and update + install game
3. After that, exit the game
4. Redownload DLC you have bought
5. Restart GT5, and install from within the game (last icon on main menu)

You HAVE to have the big red INSTALL button to be able to use your DLC.
And I'm sure there are over 2-3 GB of updates.

Well if you're still at version 1.0

Then there is a few.
1.01
1.02
1.03
1.04
1.05
1.06
1.10
2.0
2.01
2.02
2.03

I can't really remember how many there were between 1.10 and 2.0.

But If you are really at 1.0 you might want to wait untill GT5 XL is available
