Is the B-Spec laps/winnings different than A-Spec? Maybe that's the difference? My Extreme American Indy is definitely 20 laps and only gives 54K Cr, but 11K XP. My B-Spec is 24 but my A-Spec is only 21, so I can't check this myself.

Whats the best way to get money with the B Driver (Before Extreme Level)?

If what I'm thinking is correct, it looks like B-Spec is roughly half the money for 3x-4x the time invested, making B-Spec very inefficient at making money. Haven't had someone verify it yet, though.

Yes, i think you are right. I think that they earn less but it's still money when you cant play. I like to find a race where it will keep him busy for 10-20mns and where he will win easily. So far im doing the Turbo or Tuned races with a Mazda Furai.

Here are some tips:

Code:
$ - some money
$$ - good amount of money
$$$ - heck, a lot of money
$$$$ - I'm rich, I've told you!

Do the licenses - $$
Extreme Indy Race - $$$
Train B-Spec and win all Professional Events + 2 Extreme (maybe 12\13 hours with training) - $$$$
All special events - $$
Endurance events (2 days, maybe) - $$$$
Beginner Events - $

How much do the endurance races pay out?

The first one was pitiful.

Well I can tell you that in the Extreme races, even with the most optimal car I don't think any of them are sure-fire wins without babysitting him. the last 5 or 6 sections are also all more than 15 minutes, some of them going up to just about an hour for the races, and the most money I've seen is 54K. Sounds like Expert might be the better area for unattended racing if that's what you're trying to get out of B-Spec.

Ok. I'll keep him doing the polyphony races. It's 23k for 13mns and he can do it by himself :)

I'll let you know if there are any easy wins in the last one tonight. I only have that and F1 left, and I don't have an F1 car yet, but being a single-make race, that's obviously not going to be a definite win.

AgentGT:
I don't know, but I saw something in the internet that said about it. Well, the Nurburgring 24 Hours race should be just plain perfect, in terms of money.
bobs:
Sorry, I was thinking about GT for the PSP, 'cause I'm not playing GT for a week because I have to study.
romynovanda:
As I said to bobs I'm not playing for a week, but I think it's on the "Special Events".

You must own a fast car and go on the test track on S and every two laps you will earn 150,000CR. A good car is the Bugatti Veyron. You can also drift on Ice Arena. That will earn you about 10,000CR per lap X2 is 20,000CR. So if you do 10 laps you will get 200,000CR.Greetz from jappi8.>>

What is the "track on S"??? I have no idea.

Or if you are just real lazy let the B spec driver do his thing and go do something else. But one way or another you are going to have to do the races yourself. 83,000 CR on races done in A spec on Extreme.

Indeed, paid out 136,000Cr for about 2hrs of racing when I could've earned more than that doing the American Championship Indianapolis race.

I can't find endurance race.....

You need to be level 25 for it to be unlocked.

Looks like it's made up to me.

Which is a shame 150,000 credits a pop would reduce the grind.

I think they're talking about GT5P, in the S event series.... but then they talk about the Bugatti... GTPSP maybe? Horrible website :grumpy:

When it comes to grinding out credits in Aspec (not Bspec or Special Events), there seems to be concensus about what is the quickest way to make money but do be careful with your calculations. If you are looking to earn a LOT of money then reloading times need to be taken into consideration.

The best examples of quick money earners are of course;
- the European Championships at Rome, Deep Forest and Monza (83,000)
- Like The Wind at Indy and Daytona (70,000 & 80,000)
- American Championships at Indy and Laguna Seca (98,000)

These can all be tried to give variety but 98,000 at Indy is the fastest.

What surprises me is the fixation with only credits, surely XP is even more important. Just think, when you are at level 27 you are only half way to the X1 events at level 30 !

XP is a whole different ball game as that varies more than credits. Take the American Championships; Indy gives you 3700 XP but Laguna Seca gives you 7800 and only takes about 3 mins longer. Another good XP one is the European Championships at Monza with 7600 XP.

My advice is to make notes of good earning credits and XP as you go along, so that when the inevitable grind comes along you know the best earners but can also give yourself some variety.

I think it depends on what you want. I personally don't car much for the X1, i'd rather have whole bunch of classic and modern race cars over it.

I wish the announced/rumored GT Anywhere thing was there. That way we can let B-Spec drivers do their thing all day from work. That would be the perfect cash cow for sure.

sorry I got bored so didn't go that many pages down ..will u stop Waffling about the specials its a one off prize as more than 1 person has already mentioned ...

Real cash is by repeating high cash low time races ...

1st race in british lightweights earns u 26k in just over 3 mins driving.. using the 70k tvr tamora 02

then the 1st race in the tuned car championship earns u 36k in just over 3 mins

These 2 are for the lower lvl starters

lvl17 turbo challenge @ high speed ring was a decent money earner for people around that level.. lvl23 american championship pays the best i found

so far the endurance races are not looking good... i dont understand why they pay so little for so much effort

What car do I use for winning the Indy 98,0000 Cr race? It's highly impossible because the Nascars don't work... okay.. the Ford GT LM.. whatever the hell crap it is isn't available nor are any other of the fast cars in that race for that matter.. the other premiums in it are slow and the Race tuned C6 Z06 is slower than my dad's ride on lawn mower.

The RM'd ZR-1 with a tune from this forum works like a charm.

I think they are talking bout GT4 ?!

is it not more important that you have fun and enjoy the game?

Yes indeed. That is paramount. The game is to give fun and to be enjoyed.

So how after spending £40 can one enjoy a game that is 90% restricted? There is no fun in that!

It has 1000 cars. Wow. How many can I play with out of the box? One. I must choose to spend what cash they give me on one poxy little Civic.

After watching Dara Obrien on Live at the Apollo the other night, I see I am in good company with my frustrations.

We see all this lovely damage in the demos. What damage have I seen so far? None. I crash into a brick wall at 100+ mph and not even a broken headlamp.

I am not some out of work student who sits in his underpants 12 hours a day leveling up. I have a full time job and want to be entertained quickly.

Quick money making schemes on GT5 would go part of the way to help.

I use the Nascar Car, and it does it pretty well. Just slam some soft racing tires on it, maximize downforce, and it will win easily. You just have to take off the throttle before the first and third turn.
